Seriously though, my pick is Bravestarr! The Filmation link is there and he would look great in MOTUC form!

Mattel doesn't own Captain Power, so I don't think they can incorporate that into NA (nor would I want them to, I want him to get his own relaunch)!

That said, if I could create a shared universe in which MOTU is just one of many just like the DC and Marvel-verses, I'd love for it to feature Bravestarr and Blackstar in other regions of space. Bravestarr even began as a spin off--although I really don't see Bravestarr looking good in MOTUC. The cowboys and barbarians thing would be a hard fit--although I guess I could see modern comics trying to make that work too. Back on Earth, if it's Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future, I could dig that, although I think Bravestarr and Blackstar contradict that future. If I could expand beyond Filmation and Mattel I would include:
    • Bravestarr
    • Blackstar
    • Defenders of the Earth/Flash Gordon
    • Centurions
    • Dungeons and Dragons
    • Pirates of Darkwater
    • Galtar and the Golden Lances
    • Sectaurs
    • Galoob's Golden Girl (mixed in with She-Ra probably)

PS-how would Krusher be different from Whiplash? Is he a giant?

I can see a loose connection being made with Rio Blast to Bravestarr, and maybe making a 30/30 beast vehicle using a Stridor mold. I do want a John Blackstar figure badly in MOTUC! Interestingly, they are both Native American characters too which is cool.

I like Bravestarr, Blackstar, etc. Mattel can use the basic body sculpt...

But leave them in their own universe!

Anyhoo...I'd like to see some Bravestarr characters. Big Jim kinda deserves a little love too, what with original MOTU jacking some of it's concepts.

I think cross-overs are usually a horrible idea. Other properties should just be separate lines or one-shots. As cool as Captain power was back in the day, it has not part in MOTU canon.

HELP! Street Fighter & MOTUC compatibility question.

Anyone here have any of the Neca Street Fighter figures? I need to know if the heads are compatible with MOTUC figures. Maybe post a pic of a Street Fighter head on a MOTUC body? Hopefully someone here can help me out.

Unfortunately, it's not going to be easy to swap heads. The NECA SFIV figures have the post coming down out of the head , unlike the MOTUC who have the post coming up out of the neck. They're just opposites, and the NECA fig would need some serious dremeling. Sorry!

What other figures/toys work well with MOTUC?

I am new to posting on the boards but have been reading them for a long time now. I started late collecting MOTUC but am trying to get caught up and at the same time I've intoduced my 5 year old nephew to the cartoons and Skeletor and he loves them both.

I want to make him an Eternia play area with other creatures, monsters, small forrest beings, animals etc that look good with the MOTUC figures. For example I know some of the Lord of the Rings Trolls and Treebeard would probably look good. Any suggestions or pictures would be helpful.

    Thanks!!!!

The Frost Giant from Hasbro's Marvel Universe works really well with MOTUC figures. He is easily as large as Tytus and Megator, but has a lot more articulation. He was a Wal-Mart exclusive early this summer.

Some of the vintage and 200x stuff works well with the classics figures. I use a 200x Grayskull and a vintage Fright Zone, Snake Mountain, and Slime Pit for display and am happy with how they look. I have bought a number of vintage vehicles from comic shops for very reasonable prices.

I can't confirm how well they'll work, but Schleich(?), which is availabe at Toys R Us and Target, often has animals and forest creatures that look like they might be compatible with MOTUC figures.

There are a few DCUC figures that work well with MOTUC: Desaad, Ares, and Etrigan all look great with MOTUC figures. The removable heads from the GReen Lantern Classics Skaalox and the fish guy/tree guy set also work well with MOTUC.

Hobby Lobby stores carry these little plastic tubes for about 7-8 dollars filled with various figurines. One of the tubes contains various fossilized skulls, which look awesome scattered across a MOTUC battlefield.

I don't have any pictures, but Lord of the Rings steeds are great with the figures. I've seen a lot of pictures where they put the characters on steeds. Bow and Adora come to mind with the horses.

Other than that, I have a generic plastic dragon that I got from Michael's that He-man does battle with on occassion.
