What other figures from other toylines would fit in the MOTUC line?

They seem to be the right size (in scale?) for Masters Classics but I don't think they have a masters look

One looks like a demon/demonic horse. The other looks like it has some kind of f*tish.

Am I reading to much into it? maybe. but I'm just giving my opinion.

The armored horse is Frank Frazetta Conan inspired, perfect for the Vikor section of the universe. The other is just a black horse, something even Catra could ride.

they look awesome. i have the white horse that elf chick rode in the first one. it's tiny in comparison to swiftwind though.

Yeah a Swift Wind scaled black horse would be cool or even a Stridor at that size would be epic.

Yeah his proportions really work with the MOTUC bucks. Similar mass, plus the loin cloth.

He's actually very easy to get right now since he wasn't very popular.

As for the Thundercats: I have the 8" Lion-o and Tygra and those are cool but was disappointed that they were taller than the MOTUC, I was excited when the announced the change to 6" and I guess we should have seen this coming but now they're too small next to MOTUC. Plus that new Lion-o head and the skrews don't look good, I too wish Mattel and/or the horsemen were making the TC classics

Now when they said the 8" will continue thru exclusives, I'm betting they will be Con exclusives

For whatever reason, Hasbro incorporated Matt Trakker from M.A.S.K. into the 25th Anniversary GI Joe line.

Anyone else think it might be cool to see Marshall Bravestarr, Tex Hex (Bravestarr) and maybe John Blackstar (Blackstar) thrown into MOTUC?

Maybe Mattel can create a bridge between Marshall Bravestarr and Rio-Blast and tie it in somehow?

For Bravestarr, it makes total sense. It would of been REALLY cool to see a crossover (like GI Joe and Transformers). Either in a comic book series or the old cartoon.

I'm open minded to it. I could see it working as a convention item, perhaps.

For instance, Scott could develop a BLACKSTAR figure using the MOTUC buck, but not have him packaged with the He-Man label. Or, they could come up with a sort of sub-genre title for a limited edition collection of Mattel sci-fi characters that fits in as a sister-brand for MOTUC. "MASTERS: EXPANDED UNIVERSE", for example. Again, extremely limited and only available at cons.

John Bravstar would be an "inexpensive" item to produce. And, he technically DID have a cameo in one of Filmation's episodes of He-Man, albeit as a statue!

That way, fans and nostalgic collectors would buy the figure, and choose for themselves if they want to consider him as "MOTUC" character. Angry canon fans could relax, too.

I can't remember. It's an episode of He-Man, and the statue appears at the top of a pile of treasures during a pan shot. Does anyone have that episode guide handy???

A statue of Blackstar (with his Starsword held aloft) is in episode #50 "Temple of the Sun".
And don't forget Warlock cameo (as Tactril) in episode #64 "The Remedy".

I do agree with Blackstar inclusion in MOTU universe but Bravestarr is out of question IMO. I think it's a bad idea place an intergalatic cowboy in a barbarian and sorccery world like Eternia...

When I was a child I used to watch on tv both MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE and GHOSTBUSTER FILMATION and collecting their toys too...
so I wish that FH would sculpt GHOSTBUSTERS and include them to MOTUC line they would be great action figures

Ghostbusters? I love Filmation's Ghostbusters, but I don't think it's a good fit.

I was thinking about this on Saturday at the Toy Show. LOTR maybe, and there was some SPAWN horse riders i REALLY wanted, with articulated horse...would they work for He-Man to ride?

Those look awesome! I'm not really a customizer though, so I'll settle for humans in snake costumes until we get more Snake Men.

Moving on to another army-building option, this is my rough approximation of Clawful leading a battalion of Skeleton Warriors during the Second Ultimate Battleground:

These are the "children of the hydra's teeth" from Jason & the Argonauts and part of the Sci-Fi Revoltech line. As much fun as they are, I'm still very eager to get official MOTUC Skeleton Warriors for Clawful to lead.
