The Warrior in Yellow Who is Participating in Tug of War Support Thread!!

You've seen the question as asked by mick4metal in the latest (May 2011) WTFWTK:

You have said mini-comic characters are an option for figures. What do you think about the warrior in yellow who is participating in a tug of war against He-man in the mini-comic Skeletor's Dragon as a figure,
    The answer was:

While we certainly could do this figure, we think it would take a lot of fan support to get him into the line. What say you He-Fans?
Sounds like a Challenge to me! Here he is:

So lets show your Support for: The Warrior in Yellow Who is Participating in a Tug of War against He-man in the mini-comic Skeletor's Dragon

    TuGor maybe?

EDIT: Forum member oICEMANo provided a mock up of what The Warrior in Yellow Who Is Participating in Tug of War might look like as a repaint:

    Lovin that rope accessory!!

EDIT: So, after 7 pages and summer deep of The Warrior in Yellow Who Is Participating in Tug of War action, bios have been requested from the left and right. So I'm updating this post to reflect some of the bio work we've begun on this essential classic from the original mini comics:

EDIT: The Warrior in Yellow Who is Participating in Tug of War Mania has continued. This time, world class action figure customizer, Scotward and his beloved wife Mrs. Ward set out to create a custom The Warrior in Yellow Who is Participating in Tug of War to much publicity. Check out one picture here, and more in his post:

    Please...this is just ridiculous now.

Do you really want this to take up the slot of another figure?!?!?!

    Definitely not supporting it.

Just chalk it up to a Royal Eternian Guard

I'd never want this guy to take the slot of a proper MOTU figure. I want a proper "adult" Cringer first before we get to this guy. He's just some random guy in yellow armor.
    I'm not supporting this.

HAHAHAHAHA.....ahhhh...it just keeps going. Yeah, lets do it! COME ON, PEOPLE! Let's get this guy in the line! If we can do this, then we can turn this line in any direction we please! If we get one completely useless background character in this line per year, then we'll be on our way to being as pointless as most of the Star Wars toyline! Come on! We can DO THIS!

You pretty much said everything I was thinking, even to the point of Cringer.

So, guy in yellow, a big "no" to you.

If anything from this page were to be made into MOTUC I would opt for Fisto or Dragon Blaster Skeletor and I sincerely hope this random yellow figure never sees the light of day

I would prefer a never before made random guy in yellow who could get a cool back story before mekaneck and ramman so yes!

I think this is a great idea! I'd much rather see this one than any NA character!

Hell NO! The palace guards are the extent of the background characters I want, and I could have lived without them. Now to go post this same thing in the dancing girls thread.

I really think we need a customizer set, with a generic male and female figure and some easily painted pieces to use and change around for different characters. This could take care of Josh, Tug-Or, the Eternian Palace dancers, and the Third Villager From The Left On Page 9 Of Issue 3.

I believe Playskool already did that; it's called Mr. Potato Head

All this man-in-yellow talk has brought back memories of Curious George

And Josh Picnic guy in charge of potato salad is a totally different ball game.

I'm totally down for The Warrior in Yellow Who is Participating in Tug of War as a figure, as long as his bio doesn't say that his real name is "pronounced through a series of grunts whilst tugging."

While I really had some great LMFAO-moments reading this thread and eventhough I slightly doubted on what my final vote would be, I'd have to go with a 'no'. No disrespect to the supporters though ;-)

The character that refuses to go away...until the villains show up! It's TWIYWIPITOW!

Wun-Dar's head on a repainted Adam body and voila... Tug-O-War.
Just give him some unique weapons like a large rope and a sword or something.

    Meet Tug-O-War
Obviously a unique sculpted head would work better...

When I was a kid and first saw this guy back in the day in the mini-comic I thought who is he? Now that the classics line can make anything possible I thought why not pop the question. Kinda surprised by the hatred but to each their own. If we were to get characters from books of course I would rather have Goat-Man, Strobo, Lodar etc. But I don't think having this guy made would be doom and gloom. Seeing this mock up I can just make him myself and I think it is a decent looking figure possibility. As I stated before I have seen fan request for characters that I think are far worse than Tug-O-War.

I like this idea ICEMAN, and the moc up is awesome! I think for a custom figure I would use an Apache Chief head and flock the vest like King Grayskulls cape. Maybe shorten the name to Tug-Or
