Teela reissue?

So was trying to figure out if i missed the Teela reissue, after seeing this pic on fwoosh, i want a blond non bikini teela as well

I've been waiting for her to get re-issued. So far Mattel hasn't brought her back and it's been a while since her release.

Seeing that pic makes me wish I a red haired version of the blond Teela would come out as well. That long haired vixen looks great on the original Teela body.

I speak for myself on this one, of course, but I do like that there is no joint in the stomach region,like the male bodies are. I love the male bucks, but the stomachs look sorta odd in some angles.

Now is this newer body going to be the main type used from now on, or will the original female body still be used?

The blonde hair almost looks maid for that outfit the way it sits above the collar. Fantastic!

Neither - this is apparently a special buck for midriff-bearing female characters like BG Teela and Veena (in the same way the Beast-Man & Whiplash bucks are different from the standard male buck).

There IS a new standard female buck coming along, but the torso of it apparently looks something like one of these art-shop mannequins if uncovered:

Yes, I really hope Mattel reissues Teela (redhead) soon, maybe even give us softer plastic on her outfit to. I can't tell you how discouraging for me it has been trying to secure one one Ebay, even if I can find one for under 50$ (sometimes for even a loose ONE

!) I always end up loosing the bidding war. I had an easier time getting the 200X Teela figure.

That would be nice for those who did not purchase her the first time around. The redhead Teela is really beautiful! That is one of the few figures that I refuse to customize -she is the first MOTUC that I bought and is perfect just as she is. IMO

I keep thinking the 1st Teela's face sculpt looks like Lucretia/Domina from the recent Spartacus tv series.

They really do need to re-issue Teela. (Two of the three I got have bobble-heads...)

It has been some time since she was originally released, which begs the question: will there be a Teela 2.0??

I'm in the queue with you guys waiting for Teela re-issue so I can do exactly what Fwoosh have done in the pic ... to create the Teela from the 2nd series mini-comics that I love.

It is the Teela from the Tri-Klops mini-comic.

They probably want to reissue her with the new buck so that there is no bobble head effect. Do people who want her reissued care if she still has that?

If we wait, how confident can we be the problem would actually be fixed?

I say just re-release her so the fans can buy extras and mix-match with BGTeela.

I need 1 too, but we won't get it from Mattel. They aren't even considering it. Ebay & such are your only options.

According to TG/Mattel, they won't be going back into production on Classics figures once their stock is exhausted on a particular figure. Unfortunately for you and other fans who really want to see her re-issued again it's not looking good... Hope you end up finding a Teela figure regardless.

Yep, no more Teela and TG has stated that there will be NO filmation Teela either. I have 2 that i got originally and open for both heads to be displayed but it would be nice to get another MOC.

Teela was never re-issued like Man At Arms (it has a starburst exclaiming "The Original" on the packaging) which is surprising considering her status. Why Mattel never re-issued her properly and only sold off their customer service stock is strange...

prob by that time they were going t osave her for another re-release later or by then they found out reissued figures ddin't sell as well as they wanted.
