THANK you, Tally!! I'd HUG ya if I was SURE that you wouldnt press CHARGES! This is amazing news...regardless of "slow starts" and "script refusals" as some have mentioned, I still have VERY high hopes for this! Its OBVIOUS to me that Mr. Franklin at least GIVES a damn!!

I'm not sure WHO mentioned this via an interview, but "combining the visuals of the Green Lantern film and the LOTR films" would be DELICIOUS!

I am particular as to whom and how the heroes are portrayed, of course, buuuuuuut....I'm much more concerned about the villians....I mean, hell, in MY 'canon', guys like Spikor and BeastMan should be N-A-S-T-Y....I mean like the Uruk-Hai and/or the Cenobites....I dont want ANY 'Disney-isms' when it comes to the baddies, thank you very much....I want slimes oozing, teeth gnashed, and blood-stained jaws/nails!
".....We wouldn't think of putting something on the screen - whether for theatres, television, or home video - without building in pro-social values..."

    - Lou Scheimer (1984)

This is what its all about, folks.

@ MOTU being called evil and demonic in the 80s, and then God sending Saint DeVon to champion the property almost 30 years later.

in the name of god that video was moronic, i actually feel dumber with watching it.

i must have missed the demon living in the castle. though maybe i'm living proof *looks at his user name*
And so I walk, into the searing light which banishes all darkness, surrendering my face and form to atoms of dust, seeking the true darkness of peace, the cool shadows of eternity and the unknown fate of nothingness

There's a She-Ra segment as well later on (maybe in part 3 or 4), where they get all riled-up because Shadow Weaver sent She-Ra to the 6th dimension in 'Three Courageous Hearts'.

I don't know if that 25-30 includes the projects from the first quote but that is a lot of projects regardless. I don't see how that is possible. I wonder how many of those projects will be completed.

3D? Masters in 3D? A live action Master movie? I don't know on both accounts.

God I hope they don't screw us with empty promises like people who made Transformers live action movies.

Now just imagine this... live action version of Eternia heavily influenced by Filmation in 3D... Pandora doesn't stand a chance!

And a good thing that it was. That test film showed nothing promising.

Holy cow you said it What couple of dumb dumb people.....yeesh.

I missed the demon that he gets his powers from too. And I love how the host asked to confirm it and the guys says yes, a demon.... And oh no! A mythological explanation for the creation of the universe, that's the first time I heard of such a thing...especially with Ethernia at the center.

That guy should feel lucky to be playing with such an awesome playset. I love how he did a stupid spooky evil voice too

I wish I could meet those guys today

I always said you don't HAVE to see a movie in 3D I'd rather the option on a special effects movie like this, I personally love it but I like them to USE it, not just give atmosphere and depth to the backgrounds.

I've been saying that since I saw Avatar. I immediately thought how cool a filmation inspired live action/cgi Eternia would look.

Those 'Deception of a Generation' guys are just great...
I love it how they play with Snake Mountain too.

"SKELETOOOOR, THE MASTER OF THE UNIVEEEEERSE!"

    Good stuff

Thank God that Saint Devon doesn't think like them!
