The vintage POP figures shared parts too and they could do so in MOTUC as well. Besides, those toy designs are just as recognizable amongst collectors (if not more so) than a Shadow Beast. Sales-wise, two higher-priced Beasts, one of which the vast majority of fans were not aware of, were a bigger risk.
Okay, she's more like Bow then. haha! The point was: She's a sidekick, not a headlining character.Really? Not more like Bow who is basically Teela in PoP?
Most of us POP fans do think She-Ra 2.0 will have the option of a classic toy outfit.I did have a thought that maybe they would paint She-Ra 2.0's body like the classic toy and then have the dress be able to be put on over it similar to Marlena. So She-Ra would be both the classic toy and the style guide in one. Maybe even have the skirt & top part be separate pieces?
But going back to the original point - If everything from mini-comic to DC comic to concept art versions are being used in MOTUC, then there's absolutely no reason why Mattel/the 4H should have to settle on one look for the POP gals. If they exclude the rest of the POP toy designs, there's something wrong with that picture.
