I absolute love these guys!
They should come with a little orc + mask!
Also we finally need archaeology Adam(with blue vest) and
Fisto!!! So they can dig out those masks!
With the support threads for Filmation-inspired figures popping up like mushrooms, I felt that the mini-comic characters deserved some love as well.
How awesome are these:
EDIT: and here's a little mock-up of how they might look like in MOTUC

Only one of anybody.
Now these I WOULD like!
Had that comic as a kid long before I could understand English... So I just looked at the pictures.... Always loved those 2 colorful creatures!
Count me in for them!!!

This is what its all about, folks.
Calling Deemos & Tyrella "goblins" seems rude, even if they're no oil paintings

Yes please!!!
Yes!!! Orc versions and masked monsters with mask accessories for the little guys!
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti
Jungle Attack He-Man in Classics!
Now that's a 2 pak™ that I'd love to see. I'd love to see more mini comic representation in MOTUC very soon! Although the absolute first thing I want to see is Lodar from that awesome cover of Slave City!

Yes, it would be cool to get those mini-comic figures in 2013 or 2014. Of course, there are better characters to release first...
There are a lot of random monsters they could make, but those two are the most iconic for me. I remember that comic and those monsters as if they had been burned in my brain - and I honestly can't say why. Maybe it was the classic idea of He-Man fighting monsters. Nothing world shattering; just a couple of monsters. This would make a great two pack, and perhaps they could throw in some crude weapon accessories like gnarled clubs, broken-off stalagmites, knicked and rusted old weapons, or maybe a twisted peice of metal that used to be a firing weapon.

WTFWTK 2.30:
Answer:2. Sabretooth: Will you consider releasing Skeletors devil-warriors as they appeared in The Power of Point Dread and Masks of Power minicomics, or the red werewolf-demon and the green lizard-demon as they appeared in Masks of Power minicomics? These characters can probably be done with minimum tooling.
Those would be cool villain army builders, but nothing can be confirmed right now.
For me it's because it was one of the first mini-comics that I had - together with The Dragon's Gift, The Vengeance of Skeletor and The Temple of Darkness - and I read it over and over again ... and by reading I mean 'looking at the pictures' or 'having someone read it to me and translate it to Dutch'

Ha! Same here! Ya know, save for translating it to Dutch. I was three when I got my first MotU figures, so I just couldn't read - period! The pictures in those old mini comics are some of the most nostalgic things in existence for me. Maybe even more so than the toys, because just the pictures in the comics are what built the story for me.

Very cool characters! I'd love to get these guys. They can come with the masks, and the smaller goblin bodies.
What should be done about their nakedness? I guess they could make the "creepy crotch" seen on Gy-Gor.
Great thread!
Etherian Rebel JOSH for the MOTUC (see my avatar)!
I really like these too. This MiniComic was one of my favorites as a child (besides THE CLASH OF ARMS) and one reason for my love for Fisto as well. I really appreciate the drawings. Please Mattel, bring them into the line. Perhaps as a two-pack with "The Masks Of Power" and one or two of these little goblins.
"A female He-Man. Ooh oh. This is the worst day of my life."
I loved this mini-comic as a kid. That being said, I'm not dying to have these guys as figures, but I wouldn't complain if we were getting them.

Deemos and Tyrella I could wait a long time for - there's plenty of cool Filmation characters to release before them.
Grayskull needs its Cardboard Spacesuit MOTUCized

For me the ideal lay-out (two pack or single-carded) would be:
- transformed goblin with lizard / wolf head and an alternative goblin head
- small goblin with clip-on mask
- some kind of crude weapon as suggested by Alexx
