I would accept a Filmation Clawful if it were indeed another character with another name. Perhaps he is Fang-Man's relative.

Didn't the "Battleground Teela" thing - where even TG said he personally treated her as a new character - tell us they're not going to make new characters out of a design if that design has actually appeared as a specific character. (c.f. something like Vikor, where that design never appeared in a story. Unless you count Conan stories.)

(If you want to treat him as such, of course, then "avatar of the imagination" and all that...)

I'm willing to bet this is a distinct possibility considering how easily you could get multiple characters out of that design.

Eh? He only needs two new parts! (head & armour) Like Stinkor, he's not really one they'd do to bank new pieces, but to get a figure out relatively cheaply without needing many new pieces.

Maybe they could give him a net to be reused for Netossa later, but that's about it.

If they do make a Filmation Clawful, that would be an awesome place to give us a 200x inspired head. Of, if they're still not making 200x heads per se, than a non-muppetized version of his classic head, without Bert eyebrows and googly eyes.

Absolutely i brought it in the tung lashor thread, but the 2 of these looking nothing alike, great way of creating another character out of already existing media, who can work for both the horde and the snake men. They should rename him Tangolor( Squeeze's name in a mini comic), this is an exact case of Zodac and Zodak, and Goddess and Teela, He needs to be made to. Give him both a horde crossbow and snake staff.

I like the toy form better than the cartoon one. Maybe sometime down the line, but right now, I'm happy with the one I have!

I never liked many of the Filmation styles for the MOTU characters including Clawful, but at least he doesn't have the awful looking bushy eyebrows!

Tung Lashor is a Snakemen if they do anything else with him I don't know what I'll do, and I'd prefer a vintage/200x hybrid not because I don't like Filmation but because since we have Filmation I WANT new characters! Ex. Fang Man, Lizard Man, Masque to name a few!

Sure, I'd be ok with that. But I want first A) Toy Acurate Version of Tung, and B) many many other Filmation characters first!

So in year 8 of the line, maybe. But I definately wont be offended if we dont get it before anything better.

A Filmation Clawful would be great! I prefer the toy version though of the two. Clawful would be the only one that I would want a "Filmation" version of though. Im not sure that I'd want to have a whole variant line based on filmation designs, just the characters that don't have a toy yet.. like Batros!

There are too many other figures to think about before wasting time on this one.

I would rather see filmation characters we have never seen in figure form, before we start redoing other figures in filmation style.

Strong arm, Fang Man, Icer, Lizard man, etc all > redos in filmation style

Seems pretty simple. New head, new jetpack, otherwise the He-Man buck w/Skeletor forearms, hands and feet and Hordak armour (Hurricane Hordak armour, perhaps? - if the jetpack could clip onto that ****ing dial, it might retrospectively give it some sort of point!).

Four variants a year. Better to have virtually unaltered Evil-Lyn repaints, unlimited He-Man/Skeletor variants, or to have some variety in the variants? I say the latter.

This threads no different than the Filmation Clawful one, & since both Clawful & Tung Lashor looked different in the toons, I'd like to see them. & on a slightly different note, I'd still like to see Kamo Khan, too.

Nah, I think Filmation figures should be limited to a select few characters that are unique to Filmation like Shokoti, Scorpia, Octavia, etc.

Characters that have figures or a 200X version I really would not want the Filmation version of like Count Marzo, Evil Seed, Clawful or Tung Lashor.

Starting January 2012, you are automatically shipped the Club Eternia Monthly Figure every month for a total of twelve months (January through December). For 2012, you will also be shipped four beast figures or multi-packs and four character variant figures at various intervals throughout the year.
