No, I said MANY fans never reached the mini-comics to hate the storyline. SOME fans hated NA because of the cartoon. OTHER fans hated NA because of the toyline not looking like the muscular figures that they associate with He-Man. BOTH groups comprise that MANY.

Really? Where is this information located where you base this broad and sweeping finding of yours on?
The threads on the .org, and elsewhere. Those are the usual reasons why fans don't like NA.

I agree with Rakashian Calamari in that I don't want to miss out on Spikor or Ram Man being made because valuable time and money was wasted on obscure characters like the yellow tug of war guy.

It's all about what NA wasn't, not what it was.
As I recall it, a kid didn't need to actually buy a NA figure to realise Mattel had ditched Eternia, ditched every other known MOTU character out of the storyline and that NA He-Man, Skeletor and the Power Sword looked nothing like what fans remembered (fortunately back then I didn't know about that ugly cyborg Laser Skeletor released in Europe).

It is difficult for some of us vintage MOTU fans to appreciate NA on its individual merits as a separate property without holding a view as to how it impacts the MOTU world given the appropriation (and transformation) of the identities of He-Man and Skeletor. My preference for 20 years has been to ignore NA ('it never happened in my canon'). MOTUC seeks to make that more difficult by incorporating NA elements in the bio-canon. Time will tell how fans react to this based on what NA elements are included/excluded in future bios.

Filler is relative. I'm more excited for NA characters than most MOTU but i'd also feel that tug of war guy and picnic guy are total wastes of a month and plastic. Some may feel the opposite. Not really an argument anyone can win as it's all opinion.
