Love your stuff, looking forward to more!
So I was checking around the forums and found some of my art posted here so I decided to make my own thread containing my art.
First I want to say that I love the classic designs of the characters of MOTU. I have respect for the many artists that have created them from the classics to the new ones. But I took my chance when I decided to paint some of them to enhance some features. I hope you guys don't hate me for it and this is how I envision them. Watch them in full view please.

Triclops - Great.
Beastman - Great.
Mer-Man - Too heroic/noble looking. Also, why does a fishman need a nose?
Whiplash - PERFECT.
Trap-Jaw - kinda looks like the pig-man from Return of the Jedi.
These guys look great. I really like Tri-clops and Trapjaw. The only one I would slightly do diferent is have Mermans Eyes bigger. Overall though they are great.
Those are gorgeous!
I love an all inclusive canon!
Awesome to have you on the boards man! Your stuff is really cool... I love redesigns and especially love your merman, I could totally see that being his design for the new movie
Check me out: www.patrickireland.net
I like 'em all. Especially Mer-man, Whiplash and Trap-Jaw. Very realistic looking.
By the Power... and For the Honor of GRAYSKULL!!!
HE-MAN and SHE-RA Rules!!!

- Ancient One (BeastMaster: The Series; Fifth Element)
Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from MAGIC!
- Clarke's Third Law
@bobteodd - Thanks for the support here and on DA! I got many more coming.
@Grimbot - Mer-man needs a nose to be able to breath on land. :P Or atleast that was my idea. Concerning Trap-Jaw... well he seems to have visted the same plastic surgeon as M.J. No seriously thanks for your comment!
@baronindy - My first sketch of Mer-man had those gooft looking big eyes but it looked so wrong so I went with the smaller ones. Happy you like them.
@Jon-O - Thank you dude!
@Patreek - Thanks for the welcome and Im very happy to be apart of it. Much love!
@GrtEternal - Thank you! I was going for that look rather than just the comic/cartoon look since it has been done so many times and by such great artists. So I didn't dare to go there. This was a risk to make them the way I see them and im happy you like it.
(Sorry for my bad English usually I only speak Viking :P)
Woah! A few comments on these EXCELLENT representations!
I like the very fresh take on Mer-Man - though I think you could have given him gills & made him look a bit slimey? Still- I like his sinister expression, the beady eyes and the sneer!
Not really digging the extra eye things on Tri-Klops. & Beastman looks a little flat & two dimensional! Love his expression though!
Whiplash looks nice & baulky! Gives him a sense of age and density too - leathery!
Trap-Jaw looks evil scarier & messed up than usual - I love how psycho & mutilated he looks! Yet, you've humanised him nicely with the blue-eyes - looks almost mournful. Great!
Stinkor looks perfect - just like an evil skunk with a gas mask with mean little eyes! And he looks dirty & grimey!
Nice one of Faker with the much loved "battle-damage" & Terminator-esq endoskeleton! Looks very freaky, bloody! - unstoppable!
Excellent work! Really looking fwd to Evil-Lyn & Webstor!
They look fantastic! I love the detail - the hair on Stinkor's face, etc. Definitely looking forward to more - you will be doing Skeletor himself at some point, I hope?
"That's very interesting...but silly."
I just have to say Your Stinkor is my favorite He looks freaken awesome. The hair looks very realistic. And I am glad you decided to make a battle damaged Faker. He looks great also.
@Eternian Poet - Thanks for your comment first of all! I can tell you that Beastman needs an update. I have compared it to my other pieces and your most def right on him looking 2D. Im thinking of making and alternative version of Tri-Klops more true to the original. Both these updates will happen once the first series is done.
@Thatman - Thank you! What would my series be without Skeletor? I'll tell you... not complete! I'm saving him for last so you will have to wait a while longer. I have some rough sketches of him ready to be painted, he will be the center piece of this series.
@baronindy - Thanks! I couldn't spoil He-man just yet so I did the Battle scared version of Faker.

Holy crap, these new ones ROCK
Clawful - viscious! & I love how you've made his eye-brows into bone/shell!
Webstor - scarey! I love the looming shadows of his spider legs & his inhuman, shining bug-eyes are just awesome! Truly horrible!
Evil-Lyn - I love the sneer & how you've worked her hair into her helmet. Bewbs too!
They are so wonderfully characterful & realistic!
Evil-Lyn looks incredible! So angry, middle aged, and nip/tucked. I love it!!!
I love an all inclusive canon!
@Predabot - Ofcourse I remember you from DA. Now you can check out my sketch of Spikor. It's on your own risk... you might never be the same! O.o
@Eternian Poet - Woohooo! I'm happy you dig them. I still got more coming! And bewbs is always cool!
@Jon-O - I was abit scared of doing Evil-Lyn the way I imagined her so I'm glad it paid off! I did some mega changes but it seemed to work out well.
*Bump* 3 new paintings uploaded.
Your artwork is awesome my friend keep up the excellent work
Etheria will be mine!
these are wicked cool. well done!
love keldor, scare glow, spikor, stinkor, whiplash the most.
badra reminds me of 2nd form cell from bragonball z
That is awesome stuff
By the goddess! These new additions are fantastic! The alt. Tri-Klops is definately an improvement.
I don't know what to say about Scare-Glow & Skeletor - they look positively evil & terrifying!
The expression on Keldor's face is great - a sort of secretive & malicious yet understated smirk....
Spikor is totally intimidating - this is the best version of Spikor I've ever seen.
i love the extra details I see when-ever I re-visit these - the smoky atmosphere around Webstor, the little hairs on his bulbous head... Trap-Jaws chainsaw has the appearance of buzzing - blood & rust.... Keldor seems to be burning something & there's a reflection of fire in his eyes... The shading on Evil-Lyn due to the light cast from her wand... And her chest is just awesome The Skeletor brooch is most amusing!
Also funny that there are no heroes! LOL
