Do you have any packaging sticker plans for when you get to the three currently-allowed 1987 movie figures? I'm hoping for a movie logo sticker on the packaging akin to what we have seen with the 'space mutants' and 'powers of grayskull.'

We do not have rights to the 1987 movie at this time so we will not be calling these figures out with a “1987 movie” sticker. The three vintage figures that are from the 1987 movie will just be sold as standard heroic or evil warriors if and when they are updated for the MOTUC line.

2. coptur:
For those of us that don't want a smelly Stinkor is it possible to do an unscented version? For the mint on card collector the boxes could have stickers on the front identifying scented or unscented.

No, we do not have plans to do two versions of Stinkor. If and when we get to him he will be stinky. He is Stinkor after all! We think there would be a lot more fall out if he was not stinky vs. making sure he is and if we did a non stinky version that would take a slot away from another figure being made.

Is there any particular method to picking re-release figures? Characters like Count Marzo already have been re-released even though their first release wasn't too long ago, while more recognized characters like Tri-Klops and Webstor just had the one release a long time ago.

Yes, and it comes down to everyone’s favorite word – logistics! Overall however the reissues do not sell as well beyond the main A list characters and starting in Fall 2011 we will be cutting down on the number of reissues going forward.

Now that we know Megator dies and is brought back as a mindless zombie by King Hssss, was Megator originally the same complexion as Tytus, died, then came back as a green zombie? Or was Megator originally green, died, and will come back as some decaying zombie with rotted flesh and maggots coming out of his flesh? Just curious as to what kind of variant we may get of him in August.

If you get around to making a Teela 2.0 (using the newest female buck and all associated pieces) would it be possible to receive two removable armor pieces in softer plastic than the original: the first being the same design as Teela 1.0, the second being the design seen for Blonde Teela in the early MOTU mini-comics like "The Ordeal of Man-E-Faces," "The Menace of Trap Jaw," "The Terror of Tri-Klops," and "The Tale of Teela?" It would probably only require a slight re-tooling of the existing Teela armor. We could use the head from Battleground Teela to create this true-to-design mini-comic Teela, and that could only mean more sales of Teela 2.0!

These are all great suggestions but as we do not have a Teela 2.0 in the works at this time these conversations simply have not taken place so we don’t have a direct answer. We’ll keep this fan request handy if we ever do get around to this!

Nice replies this round, and far better questions!

Though I still dont quite understand peoples aversion to stinkors scent, it is just Patchouli oil, which is a very popular essential oil (My 1989 'Like a Prayer' Cassette was scented with it too,to induce relaxation and bliss).

its not like its a disgusting smell made to be a skunk stink!

Oh well, I cant wait fr him in all his Patchouli magnificence!

I want Stinkor to stink, but I understand the concern. Some people are allergic to scents so...because he's scented, they cannot own his action figure, which totally sucks. I remember reading about various people that really wanted Moss-Man but couldn't because of scent allergies.

I only asked because some people didn't like mossman stinking out there room. i personally am all for a smelly Stinkor.

I just thought it was an original question and not one of those constantly repeated questions or a question with obvious answers.

though I certainly feel for anyone with reasons to be unable to get a figure because of it's smell, and I know someone who's asthma is so bad they cannot be around perfume, incense, ect, and cant even go outside during certain "bad air" days, it isnt exactly a pressing problem, and it is two figures.

much like how I come across people with latex allergies and so cannot have the full fun of a latex mask for halloween, or any latex makeup, it is sad for them, but no reason not to have them for the multitude and majority who do not have that problem.

mind you, I understand that's why it's asked to perhaps do an "unscented" version, and I understand the response.

So too bad, but you have our sympathies. I imagine their plight is much worse in their day to day than what missing out on 2 MOTUC bring to their table. Just more of the same for them from day to day scent problems.

Glad he'll be stinky, though it wont last forever. my Moss Man is already somewhat faint.

I'm more concerned for the rereleases, I was hoping to get another Trap Jaw with non ebay prices to make a separate Kronis to go with Keldor. And a Webstor to make my custom Spider hybrid. hopefully they will get rid of some extras at Comic Con.

I think if they can't do anything beyond the old movie figures then why bother? I'd love to have figures based off of the movie in the classics style, but not just those three.

While I'm happy that Stinkor is going to stink, I really think his scent is bad. I've often heard people say it is similar to patchouli oil(I've never smelled that myself). If that's true, I would have made a bad hippy. I actually liked the smell of real skunks until my 3 dogs were sprayed by one last summer(it is a lot less pleasant in high concentration), but Stinkor always seemed worse to me. To paraphrase comedian Patton Oswalt, patchouli oil smells “like dirt that's been [loved] by a hobo".

Stinkor should smell like the rotten crotch of some morbidly obese, 500+ pound fat person who hasn't bathed/showered in a decade. That or buttered pop-corn. Both smells are equally nauseating.

Totally, but I also trily do not get the logic behind the reissues they have done...I mean Teela is screaming for rerelease, as is Trike,Randor and to a lesser degree I think Optikk should have one too!
