This figure is like getting to nail Paris Hilton. It feels like I was the only one who missed out!
The sell out was reasonably quick and I was wondering if there was enough interest for Matty to do a re-release. So before I head over to evilbay is there anyone else here who missed out who would want one? And for those that did buy one are they worth it?

I think he should be. I gotta be honest in that at first I thought Gygor was lame but I still got him. Now I can't imagine not having him. He is a cool figure and with his colors he fits the old school look of MOTU that I like. If you don't have him get him.
I'm guessing Gygor won't be coming back. Mattel are going to reduce the amount of re-issues they do in 2012 forward, because they say only the main characters tend to do well.
Highly doubt it. As said, the re-releases are going to be fewer and fewer and Gygor certainly isn't an A-list character...not even close.
Then...you also have the $30 price tag attached to it which makes it an even tougher sell.
I think he will comeback to get rid of the left over stock, but not get a new run.

Didn't Tytus have a re-release? If he did, then I'd think they'd do something about Gygor...
The safe answer is "Yes" He will eventually be re-released. The question is when. It's a guessing game with Matty. They don't do things by order.
I'm still waiting for Teela to get re-released and I need another Man-At-Arms.

Yea, but I'm willing to bet that Tytus is just one of the "Re-Releases" that didn't fare as well as thought which made Mattel second guess and shorten these re-leases.
The re-release stuck around to the VERY end and I'm sure that they still have quite a few hanging around for the ol' customer service stock.
Tytus also sold out MUCH quicker then Gygor on the first go around *under 20 min. I believe* so I'm sure that had a lot to do with the re-release as well.

I put Gygor on ebay, and no-one bought him. Also I had him for sale in my store and still no-one bought him.
