So not only does Mattel ask us to buy a subscription without knowing all of the figures we are committing to buy, but now non subscribers have to also play Matty's twisted little surprise game?

Yeah, not at all.

It's a very valid point... does it really matter if the "secret" gets revealed by the reviewers 2 months early instead of the first person to get the figs days/weeks before everyone else?

But I think we can keep the surprise going here by not putting it in the titles of threads and leaving some spoiler space.
Then everyone can decide if they want to know ASAP or wait until they get their toys.

All I can tell is that there are two slits, and on the back some tape and a very small piece remaining of a clear plastic strip that was cut. I can't at all tell what was there by that. There isn't even a "shape" or "size" indicator, because whatever it is, it's just held in by a plastic strip it seems.
