Opinions needed! @00X Sorceress

So as you see, I'm working on a 200X Sorceress...thing is... I can't decide if I want to use her MVP color scheme or the one the Horsemen had originally planned. Like the limited edition staction released. Can't decide can't decide...what do ya'll think?

Looking good so far!

I would say use the MYP color scheme. Even though the 4HM intended for her to have the 'classic' color scheme, the MYP one is the one most associated with that design.

Plus, while I hope we get a few versions of the Sorecess in MOTUC, I think that we all know if we only get one, it will be the classic/vintage look, with that corresponding color scheme. So, in that case you would have 2 Sorceress figures in classic/vintage color schemes. IMO it would be cool to have the 200X version have the MYP color scheme to make her stand out more by comparison.

First off, this is off to a great start! Second, I prefer the MYP color scheme to the vintage inspired one as well. I think it's mainly because I didn't like the fading orange-to-blue on the wings.

So far looks like MVP is winning...I agree with pretty much everybody....guess im just jonesing for a classic version already! I was thinking with battleground Teeeeeelaaaa.......err sorceress? hehe.

what do you use for sculpting?

I use Aves Fix-it sculpt. Dries hard and not as quickly. Gives me time to sculpt,smooth and is nice neutral color. Plus its not real stinky hehe. Doesn't make me high..on second thought... I miss.. sometimes... j/k ;-P

My opinion: if you have time and ressources for a second custom: do both color schemes!

I like that opinion! But well...I don't have another Teela! Aww booo.... or another set a hawkman wings aww boooo...lol. Guess I could get em eventually. After this it's Scorpia though so resources going into her and that articulated tail.....uhoh

I would go for the Blue White Orange color scheme, it´s so iconic if you ask me.

When i saw the staction for the first time i was so glad and still think they should have sticked to that version.

MYP colors fits the design, that's what I would go with.

Nope. Gonna use bionicles or something like that ball joints and sculpt all the rest. I want a definite female "streamlined " look for her. Hope it comes out well.

Would a hybird color scheme work without looking too busy or weird? Like the bluish torso with some white incorporated, etc. Maybe not, I dunno.

I honestly can't decide which is better. You could color that sculpt with crayons and it would still be really awesome.

MYP colors. Man, Toyguru if you are seeing this hire this kid already his work is amazing. Can't wait to see the finished product.

hmm hybrid....I dunno if I could pull that off lol without lookin like a mess ! Maybe I have to do both huh? Oh and thank you...but don't think crayons will quite do hah!

200x colors for sure vintage will come out legitimately sooner or later nice work so far...
