Nice work man. I love the look of 200x sorceress.
Hi everybody! I'm posting on my sorceress that I had previously asked opinions concerning what color scheme to go by. I have made my decision and am going with MVP colors this time around. I tried editing the post to put a new title on it but it won't let me..hmmm anybody know how? or merging that thread with this one? Anyhow, I have never done a work in progress thread so here it is! I'm posting the most recent shots I took with my phone this morning...they're not the greatest but you get the idea. The headress isnt behind the ears...dont know if thats a big deal or inaccurate and should be changed? Does it look bad? I am trying to think of a way to do the skirt in some sort of pliable/flexible material though I haven't thought of anything yet. You can see on the left side some prelimanary sculpting of the skirt. It hasn't been finalized or shaped. Just a form to dry for support...not sure if im gonna keep....I thought of maybe white rubberbands cut and fused together......any ideas? Im pretty sure I'm not going to go with cloth...it will not lay right and look stiff and heavy. Help! hehe

Nice work man. I love the look of 200x sorceress.
Take a look at my deviantart. http://kaassouffle.deviantart.com/gallery/
i want to see the back
Sure, Im not at home and have no pics on me, But she would look exactly like Teela at this point. All I'm going to do on the back is put one of those ornate scroll thingys and the skirt. The wings are going to be attached by way of a dremel boring out a retangular shape, and an attachment similar to Hawkman where the wings were taken from. I have this glue that actually melts and bonds Polyethelyne plastic so it would be strong and permanent once done. They will be the last thing put on her since her wings are rather awkward and get in the way of my sculpting room. ") I will post a pic of her back so you can see the back part of the Nemes Headress

This is really beautiful work. A pity you can't do two, one for each color scheme.![]()

I am not a customizer so I am not going to be able to help with the materials, hopefully some of the other orgers who are customizers will post or PM you with some guidance.
I can't wait to see her finished, she looks beautiful so far - great work!
What colour staff are you going to give her?
Are you going to do the egyptian eye make-up look too?
TOP 5 MOTUC MUST HAVES:
1. Glimmer
2. Stonedar
3. Filmation Hordak w Imp
4. Snake Armor He-man & She-ra (See here for Hunter Knight's custom) 2-Pack
5. Madame Razz w Broom
Thanks; Yeah I'll figure it out. As for the makeup! Most definitely ! When she's complete she is going to look as close to emiliano's illustrations as possible while maintaining the classic look..
I was never a fan of the 200x Sorceress, favoring instead the simple FILMation version.
That said, this is absolutely beautiful.
Thus far, me likey--- a lot!![]()
I bought TWO 2013 Subscription as support, because of the promise that showing support will ensure 2014 will include ALL the major POP and NA characters.
I'm excited for the result.![]()
Alles Orko oder was? - ...'cause Trollans are the best!- She-Raver by conviction...
nice.
i look forward to seeing veena in motuc
She is definitely right on track! I can't wait to see the finalized version!
Holding out for Castaspella, Angella, Double Trouble and Entrapta!!!
Update....Im nearly done. Her skirt is such a problem! I've tried sculpt....looks awesome. She can't move.....tried making the skirt out of matte rubber tape....looks pretty cool...but its really white. Won't be able to do the whole off white look . N it kinda comes undone....ill have to see of I can do some sorta wrap around n make it look accurate...argh....any ideas O fellow customizers?
What sculpting medium are you using?
This is look great thus far man! Truly!
Though you may need to consider going with soft goods for her skirt/loin cloth. What are your objections to it?

I LOVE this figure! I'm not that fond of the 200x look, but if we get a Sorceress that looks this good, then I'll be ecstatic.
Have you ever tried using Sculpey Bake & Bend? That might work for the skirt.
Bake & Bend
"Skeletor to King Randor...Skeletor to King Randor. Come in, you royal boob!"
Looks really good. I want to see your final work.
Well, I just dont think they lay right for such small figures. It'll look too thick and not " heavy " enough fir the drapes to fall really well. I've tried really thin fabrics but not heavy enough n thick heavy ones...well you know how that'll go. Im gonna try that bend n bake...lets see how that looks. *Crosses fingers *
