Preternia Disguise He-Man listed as "Museum Item"

I routinely check the Matty MOTUC Product pages to check the status of the figures (this is how I spotted She-Ra's re-issue). Currently Preternia Disguise He-Man status is "Museum Item."

    Very interesting...

Yeah, I'm a little confused what it means too.

I'd imagine it kinda means "from the history of the line", suggesting it won't be back. Just like Wun-Dar(!)

My best guess is that Mattel is planning to feature (or already featured) Preternia He-Man in the "Toy Museum" section of the Collector's page on their site.

    http://www.mattel.com/collectors

Currently Scareglow is in that section. Scroll down and use the arrow...

Mattel has been planning a Museum for their site for ages.

I could be wrong, but at some point I thought someone asked about it and they said those plans fell through.

My guess is that he's a subscription exclusive and won't be re-released.

Probably. TG said many times that the sub exclusive figures will never be released again.

Yeah I would imagine that Wun-Dar, Preternia He-Man, and King Greyskull 2008 will probably all be in there since they will never be reissued.

Not sure why Scareglow is in there though

Considering that moving forward, not many figures will get rereleased either, there may be a lot more than exclusives in that museum section before long.
