The merging of characters/figures: yes or no?

We have already seen a couple of characters merged into one figure , Hawke/Delora, and Sorceress/Kudok Ungol.

Even the very first MOTU female was a merge of Goddess and Teela.

Let's face the fact we will never see EVERY character made. By merging two into one, we get two characters and free up space for additionals.

Aramesh/Golden Rod as depicted by Axel

    Satma, the Great Black Wizard

    Goddess 2.0/ Sharella

    Any others?

I am not sure how many options there are for this outside of army builders given many of the re-use designs were differently coloured (thinking characters like King Tamusk/Barbo and Danavas/Baron Grod), but I am definitely supportive of the idea. Super7 should explore every option for fans to buy multiple versions of each character for different display purposes.

There should be a toy Catra variant with enough accessories to cover several of the vintage toy variants.

Characters that are leaders of or representative of a given race should come with generic additional heads (and perhaps armor) for army building. Hunga is the most likely in this regard at this stage, and maybe Beast Lord if he gets made, but figures like the Kulatak Chief and Ceratus could have sold more if they had included alternate warrior heads.

So I guess this means count me a yes.

I kinda think it’s a no-brainer, really. If you made Tataran and included two or three extra generic goblin heads, you’ll sell just as many figures as you would if you put out Tataran and a goblin army builder two-pack. People will buy doubles and triples of army builders.
