Just for the record, despite his resemblence to Count Duckula, I don't think Leech looks too bad. I'll concede that he could be more sinister looking, but I still think he looks pretty good. Clawful, on the other hand, still looks like Animal on steroids.

That's how I see it.
When you look at the vintage figure's head from the side, it looks just like the MOTUC head. It has the red eyes, teeth, ears, everything the vintage figure had except the suction cup.
You could even say the head is just a Classics version of the staction head. It looks just like but w/o the hyper anime.
I'm more upset that the 4H went with the cardback design on the armor instead of the one-piece that the figure and staction had. It does look like he's wearing a sports bra.

Thats how the figures were meant to be originally... so I applaud their wanting to do those designs justice.

Sorry to say so, but I must admit MOTUC Leech's head really disappointed me. As far as this figure is concerned, I truly prefer the more menacing 200x head. This vintage inspired head looks too cartoony to me, and I think that the 80s head even looks better than this MOTUC face !
One big fail, if you ask me. I'll probably buy Leech because he is one of the important Horde figures, but if Mattel keeps dishing out figures that don't look good like this one (at least, this is my opinion), I won't be there to buy them.
Leech prototype is already available on ebay, from china of course!
