I agree. I am loving the NECA stuff: Rocky, Rambo, Terminator, E.T., Gremlins, etc.

I haven't bought it yet but I've been very close to picking up a Hottoys silk spectre. Does anyone else have her to be able to comment on the quality firsthand?
It will probably be a month away or more again after I blew my funds on a bronze kg last week.

Ahh, but that still enables me to count 355 places higher than you, Philly Cheese Steak.

But seriously (wakka wakka), to answer phantom's question, issue #375 was the last Spidey comic I bought during my initial comic book collection days. I started as a kid in the 80's and by the 90's rolled around my interest waned. So, #375 was the last issue I bought because it was a special holofoil cover that was the rage in the 90's. But eventually I'm going to get up to issue #400 because it's a round number to end on.

Neca is an interesting case for me- they make a lot of toys of movies I like, but not toys I feel a particular need to actually own. I could've got into the T2 line if they'd been more readily available but they were always sold out at TRU and hard to find online- and to get the perfect T-1000 set you had to buy 3 or 4 different figures for all the accessories and options. Well, I could say the same for the Arnies, too.

I miss that league so much. I used to see about 20 Ottawa Lynx games a year, but now they are gone.

My new purchases. Figmas Homura, Kyouko, and Sayaka. I.. really like these. Maybe it's the new toy smell, but I'm having a lot of fun with them. The Revoltech Yuki I added to the order for cheap, something like 800 yen.

And here are the Madoka Magica girls fighting Draego-Man and Sir Laser Lot. I don't have Spector for Homura, so she's distracting Draego-Man.

I got in a PC cooling fan and some thermal CPU paste, so I was able to get my old Dell XP computer back up and running.

Well, I finally picked up the Glider Attack Green Goblin a few days ago. I think I am going to return him back to BL, though. He's incredibly scrawny; this figure sucks

I'm sorry, boys. I keep forgetting the Cardinal rule (perhaps because I hate the new Photobucket ):

"This thread is nothing without pictures."

I had an opportunity to swing by TRU again. Wasn't expecting anything; instead they had a full case of the Pacific Rim toys, the latest Predator wave, a lot of Rambos, and some new Monster High. And I only had enough money for one toy. Very hard decision, but I went Kaiju.

    Knifehead:

A very neat-looking figure, but not much articulation here. Just cut joints on the main arms, hinge joints on the mouth, elbows, and knees, a bendy tail, and hip joints that do the basic up and down, but can also move slightly in and out. The cool thing is he is perfectly scaled to the S. H. Monsterarts figures.

These arrived in the mail the last couple of days:

New Mordles figures from Toyfinity and the latest crop of Baby Deadbeets from October Toys. They're tiny (all somewhere around an inch), but very cool.
Classics TGR figures should be Filmation-based, but they NEED MORE COWBELL!

Showing off my TV, Dell XP computer, Raspberry Pi and Gadget figurine. I still need to do cosmetic work(tidy up cables, redo the shelves and drawers with shelf paper).

The back of that TV is almost full as it can go with cables. I have 1 HDMI port open and that's it.

Freaky? That thing is terrifying! I don't think I could sleep with that in my room.

Somehow the toy is scarier than it is in the movie.

For my upcoming birthday, I decided to treat myself to a few of the toys I had as a kid, and pick up some of their respective linemates as well - basically, Super Naturals and Rock Lords. Neither line ever really took off, but I enjoyed the concepts. So Snakebite and Burnheart of the Super Naturals just arrived. (Not at all knock-off members of the Snake Men or Horde, respectively.)

I took the 3 3/4 in. Green Goblin back to Big Lots! and got my nine bucks back. Terrible figure.

I was at Walmart and found this 6" movie Spider-man.

I've been wanting to get a 6" movie figure for a while--would have gotten Superman if he had better neck articulation.
    Well, this one will do.

Today I went to a flea market and scored some Vintage Star Wars (Darth Vader with perfect vinyl cape, Jedi Master Luke, Jabba's band....and the best....Gamorean Guard and Rancor Keeper on Cut but perfectly sealed cards. On a side note- why do people cut cards!?). Also Scored a vintage Power Ranger Lunch box for my boy. Then we went to Toys R Us since we were so far out of town and found one of these. (actually they had 3 on the shelf but just bought one - gonna give it to him for his birthday)

Lol...never knew vintage card poker was so popular. Sounds Expensive. My wife said I should cut them all and since they are easier to store but I told her that's crazy talk!

Come on, Hasbro. This figure stand is almost useless. It's ugly and it's warped

    - - - Updated - - -

I really wish Toy Biz was still around. They knew how to do super hero stuff right. Unlike Hasbro and Mattel, who half ass every project.
