    40% Sale!

Both of my Ollie's had 40% off on toys. That would not normally have me terribly excited, but they got in some cyberverse playsets that are uncommon. I had a field day

It went to Ollie's today also and saw lots of the MattyCollector 12" Lex Luthor and 12" General Zod figures for only $17.99 after the 40% off! Wish they had a Superman, but they were out.
MOST WANTED: Two-Bad, Ice Armor He-Man, Hydron, Flogg, Horde Trooper,

LOL. I didn't even know they were on sale. I grabbed shockwave and starscream (never seen them anywhere) and went up to pay. They came out to like $5.50 each

I then ran to the other Ollie's and they had an army of them. They weren't there last week.

I only have 1 in my area and this was my first time going, but was pretty impressed with all they had.

Yeah, it's not a store I go to a lot. They have a lot of super hero stuff but I'm more into sci-fi franchises and transformers.

I did not see a 12" superman (although I wasn't exactly looking for it), I did see Zod and a standard sized figure somebody named Jemm. They had some Young Justice figures with Walmart exclusive stickers on the front of the packaging

The aisles were pretty crowded with people, which was really annoying.

In '85 those ROTU Skeletons would've been my favoritest things ever.

Do tell how they and Herc hold up.

Christmas has come and gone and this year I had my own secret Santa in our very own Scotward!

I was pretty stunned to find Scotty bought me a Lego set. And a Marvel one at that! Little Magneto and Deadpool are amazing, and I love the look of the chopper. I am excited that lego sets hold the same high quality today as back when I was heavily into them! This is such a cool set, and it may set me back on the slippery slope towards getting back into Legos. Thanks Scot!

Lego knockoffs don't do well in Europe due to Legos market domination, so our local Toys'R'Us is selling off all their Kre-O (Hasbro's building block brand) at half price. I don't care for most of it, but I couldn't resist the Transformer minifig blindbags. There's six figures in this series, and by picking random bags I got five out of the six, plus two extras: Waspinator, Spinister, Crankshaft, Sunstorm and Scorponok. They look awesome.

Now does anyone need a spare Scorponok and have a spare Galvatron to trade?

Best-Lock Terminator set. On the scale of Lego knock-offs, it's probably at the very bottom. Yes, even worse than Mega Blocks. It was half price and worth that for the T-800 Endoskeleton minifigures, but the rest is garbage. I'm honestly probably going to just super-glue the models together since they don't really stay together on their own and I don't really see myself taking these apart again since the instructions are so lousy that it was a nightmare doing it the first time.

I have an old plush toy made by Russ, a turtle named Twittle, that was probably the first toy I ever owned as a child. Mine is still here and I got it out, though time and wear have left their mark. I saw a practically new condition Twittle on eBay and the seller had a 20% off discount and thought I would "rescue" it.

My research only netted that it was probably made between 1978-1981. Old Russ plushes from then are very hard to come by but it seems few people want them anymore. I was surprised to have found one at all.

I have my old one, and you can see a difference- it's lost the fluff from going through the washing machine a few times, the tags and lace are gone and the music box broke a very long time ago and was taken out. I was actually a bit surprised when I opened the new one and saw the difference.

I found a Youtube video showing the music box and moving head.

It feels like forever since I last bought some new Star Wars figures, so I decided to start hunting down some of my favourite characters as well as getting some much needed upgrades of older figures. Starting with...

    Jabba's Throne with Oola
The Dark Lady Lumiya with Luke Skywalker

I never had a Return of the Jedi Jabba until now, and I always wanted a figure of Lumiya from the old Marvel comics. Both are awesome.

I got into a bit of a star wars mode before Christmas, got a AT-ST and an AT-AT, I wanted to go hunting for the Jabba set, Walmarts had em, I still haven't searched though.

I found a good 80's page on Facebook so with that stirring the nostalgia pot a bit I bought a DVD set of all the I Love The 80's shows that VH1 did. It has the 70's and 90's and I think the new millennium episodes also. Got it off of ioffer for 45 bucks. (Please forgive me for mentioning the exact site, I'm not doing free plugs or anything, I figured it'd be all right to mention the sites name though)

    I also ordered 3 Superior Spider-Man #1 variants:
The J. Scott Campbell connecting cover
    The blank cover
    The Skottie Young baby cover
