No Secret Accessory for Man-E-Faces Review Either

Hey guys!

Got home from work today to find Man-E-Faces sitting on my doorstep for review.

Once again, looks like Mattel removed the secret accessory so that it wouldn't be revealed!

Ripped the card back right open!

I'll get to work on the review tonight!

He does look more "card back" than half and half...and the "half and half" looked more like the toy version...what's going on?

-Somewhere in Mattel HQ, Toyguru's desk grows more "morbid" with heads, faces, and other "secret accessories".

-I guess we'll have to wait for the OFFICIAL announcement coming out of CHINA, CHINA via ebay.

Wow. Seeing that pic takes me right back to my childhood. A brand new Man E Faces. He's one of my strongest memories of playing with MOTU as a kid. Every kid in my class thought he was one of the coolest. Right up there with Ram Man, he is pure nostalgia for me.

I think it all depends on the lighting; when I saw him live at WonderCon he looked a little paler than what my pictures showed but there could have been more tweaking after that showing as this one looks very pale.

At least we have MEF to look forward to. I think he looks cool. Can't wait to see him with the other MOTUC figures in some group shots.

Me too! If I can make an early request, could you include a shot of Man-E-Faces with He-Man, Teela, Man-At-Arms and Stratos? I want to see how the six heroic warriors/masters from the 12 back look like in Classics. Other group shot would include Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Beast Man, Mer-Man, Tri-Klops and Trap Jaw in one group and those heroes that I mentioned earlier in another.

From this picture it looks like they removed that horrible orange color too. I'd like to see him next to other flesh toned characters to compare.

Here is a theory i have.I believe The Goddess is the unnamed wife of Nikolas Powers who she fell in love with after Wun-Dar rescued her and took her to him to be nursed back to health.They married in secret because of the treaty with King Hsss and had a baby named Evelyn Powers.The Elders found out about the marriage and child and took away Nikolas Powers humanity and he became the Faceless One,they then punished The Goddess by stripping away most of her Powers and casting her into Despondos.In Despondos,The Goddess became angry and felt betrayed by the Elders for destroying her life and what they did to her husband and separating her from her daughter.The Goddess still regained some of her powers and swore revenge on the Elders but needing help to escape from Despondos the only help there is is Hordak,knowing he would never help or trust her as The Goddess she forged a knew identity as Shadow Weaver to gain Hordak's trust until she can escape Despondos and have her revenge on those who destroyed her life.

Honestly, I wish MEF's accessory won't get spoiled like Megator's last time. It is near impossible to avoid these kind of news.

I can't see it very well but... the size and shape of the secret accesory placeholder looks suitable for a face barrel piece and not for a weapon. (I still hope the secret accesory is an alternate set of faces) I guess we could discard a second set when Dan unveils if MEF's head and faces are not removable.
