For Reference: BG Teela's Entire Outfit Can Be Removed In One Piece

Used boiling hot water to heat up the torso, and I was able to pull it apart from the lower-half of the body. Her furries are just resting over top of the hips. No glue was used. The bra then stretches enough to slide down over her arms.

The only area that might get slightly damaged in the process is the hole that connects to the lower-half of the body. The plastic around the rim slightly buckled, so the waist-twist will probably be a bit loose when I put her back together.

Hunter Knight Customs put up a video not long ago in which he explained that you should not "boil and pop" because the boiling process makes the plastic brittle and eventually the figure is more likely to break. Instead, use a hair dryer to heat the plastic. It works just as well.

I actually experimented with this when she first arrived. It seems you can't pull the bra upwards over her arms and over her head (if you remove it). Does that mean that the only way to remove the bra in one piece without cutting it is Tallstar's method by separating the torso so you slide her bra down over her arms and off at the waist?

How hard would it have been for Mattel to have made an actual clasp like they have for all the male warriors' armors?

Yeah...they never would do that.

Anyway, for customizing purposes, I'm sure if you pop off her head and put her arms up (like she's taking a dive) and use a blow drier to heat up her bra, you can slip it off. It might take a little work, but I'm sure it can be done. I'll know more once I get mine. I want to make her into someone else (eventually), not to play strip tease with.

so the torso is detachable from the hips, but not as easily as for king hsss...
at first glance i thought at completely swappable parts (for mermista, for instance).

I don't really like Teela's crotch/hips when you look at how it's made. It looks okay when the loincloth/ furry shorts are on her, but when you look at it without that it kind of looks like Hasbro's hip joints. Plus I would've preferred she had an actual crotch instead of that robot-looking brown thing, so that she could've been customized into something else more easily.

No, her bra DOES have a clasp on the back that just has a dap of glue holding it one. You just have to give a gentle pull on the back it it comes off VERY easily. No need to pop off any limbs or anything.
