well it certainly doesn't look like the half and half we were told we'd be getting. there's no orange tint in the skin at all.

While I'm very happy with the final result, it's certainly puzzling especially after all those long threads and that infamous poll! Cardback MEF was initially the 4HM's choice after all...

Cardback is fine by me!

Cardback is probably how they shouldve looked back in the day anyways given the technology and advances of today. The Horsemen looking at the old card/box art is probably the best way to do these updates to our classic favorites imo.

I may be in the minority but I hope they do the same for Ram Man when it's his turn.

Except he was shown with orange-ish skintone right before the votes went down and he was still orangish when I saw him in person at wondercon...
And Just to clarify I voted for cardback so I'm not complaining about his skin tone, I'm actually happy with this new revelation, but also puzzled at the same time.

It's also pathetic that the vote didn't really clarify if the intention of the half and half was always to do cardback fleshtone and toy color armor.

I don't want him in his "rusted out" look. It's like someone left his armour out in a big rain! It would explain all his previous figures' lack of articulation if he were coloured that way though!

I'm still wondering how the blue color appears in hand. In the review it sometimes look more dark, in the "live" section with Dan in front it appears more bright...

For figures that had ACTUAL card back art I agree. The art was way better than the figures. For figures that just had illustrations of the actual figures on the card back, the 4H should pull from other resources. With that said, I'm VERY happy with the way MEF turned out, and I agree about Ram Man, card back art all the way!

Well this is going to be the first MOTU figure that I want that I'll probably pass on. That's way too skintone-like, not anywhere near "half and half". Hopefully they'll release a real orange version in a DCUC 2 pack sometime soon.

Exactly, the color of the final product does not match what was shown on the prototype, a light orange. I'm disappointed in the coloration, but I've got a set of Cartoon Color paints to fix him with.

If his secret extra accessory is a head, I will be upset and pleased at the same time. Pleased for getting an extra head, but ****** because there have been a couple of figures lately who were far more deserving of new head than Man-E-Faces.
