Hop on your Wind Raider or into your ThunderTank and get over to Los Angeles, California for September 24 - 25, 2011, we want to see YOU at Power-Con / ThunderCon: the He-Man, She-Ra, and ThunderCats Fan Convention! He-Man.org is excited to extend an exclusive giveaway to fans! How do you get in on this action? Just follow these easy steps:

STEP 1

Like the Power-Con and ThunderCon Facebook pages or follow ThePowerCon on Twitter.

STEP 2

Print out this sign and take a photograph of yourself holding it. Change either your Facebook or Twitter profile picture to this for the entire month of July.

STEP 3

Send out this message via Facebook or Twitter:

STEP 4 (Facebook users only)

After changing your profile picture and sending out your status message, go to the Power-Con Facebook Page and post a comment on the contest news item so we can verify your entry and add you to the giveaway.

How to comment

Make sure your status updates look like the above examples, otherwise we will not be able to see your entries, and that your profile pic of you holding the sign remains in place for the entire month of July. Your photo and status message must be up before Monday, July 11, 2011. With the exciting news that Mattel will be joining Power-Con, He-Man.org has extended the contest by another week.

You can now submit your entries by Monday, July 18, 2011! Entries that are received after the original submission date of Monday, July 11, 2011 must keep their photos up until August 6, 2011.

During the second week of August we will pick our winners!
"Round 1": 1 out of every 10 entries will be randomly picked to win one 2-day pass to the convention.
"Round 2": 1 out of every 30 will win a POWER PACKAGE!

Not a member of Facebook or Twitter? That’s cool. Post your picture in this official contest thread on He-Man.org and one winner will be picked from there as well for a free 2-day pass!

Contest entries (Facebook and/or Twitter status updates and Facebook and/or Twitter profile pics) must be created before Monday, July 11th, 2011. Said profile pics must remain in place until Monday, August 1st, 2011. Contest is open to entrants worldwide. All entrants must be of 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, regardless of country of origin. Winners will be announced by Monday, August 15th, 2011. The names of the winners will be revealed on the Power-Con and/or ThunderCon website, the Power-Con and/or ThunderCon Facebook page, and/or on the Power-Con and/or ThunderCon Twitter account. Prizes are for admission only to the convention. Prizes are available for pickup on Saturday, September 24th at the convention. Both the winner's photo ID and print-out of confirmation e-mail will be required at time of pickup. No cash value or warranty is made with regard to any winner in any circumstance nor any instance. Any and all travel, hotel and other related expenses are the sole responsibility of each winner. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. No other consideration is either implied or expressed. Contest is void where prohibited.

Can my wife pose w/ sign on her Facebook & count towards my entry. I don't do FB or twitter. I'm old school in that sometimes enough is enough and certain things should be kept private or to yourself.
