    Four Horsemen MOTUC Appreciation Thread!

I don't know if one has been started yet, but I thought it was only appropriate to start a thread thanking them for bringing back MOTU to us! If it wasn't for them showing that He-man to Mattel last year, we wouldn't have anything right now. No stactions, no MOTUC, nothing. And I just wanted to be the first to thank the Four Horsemen for their passion and dedication in giving us back our beloved MOTU!

Thanks Horseman. Great job in keeping MOTU new and fresh for the last few years.

I love the documentary on the third disk of volume 3.

Any place I can give them a big THANK YOU I always will.

You guys really inspire and continue to awe me with your talent, determination and loyalty to MOTU. THERE WILL NEVER BE anybody better to bring these figures to life better then you.

Please, keep up the great work! I can't believe I'm typing this but I can say that King Grayskull is my favorite MOTU figure ever released! I never thought I'd like anything better then the stactions but this figure is killer. All the work making it feel chunky and yet detailed but simple has really taken this to whole thing to a new level! AMAZING.

Here, Here! And for giving us something of a fix with the stactions after the 200X line was axed. do we know for sure (and I don't doubt it's probably true) that Mattel got the idea for the new line fromt he mock up they did of He-Man at that one con?

Thank you for sculpting that He-Man, which opened so many doors for MOTU, PoP and NA.

A big thank you from me, I got the KG figure last week and it totally rocks! It feels like the newer 200x line yet also like the bulky 80s figures - great work done. Can't wait for the others characters to be released, I'll be supporting the line 100%!

Fwoosh: So then, the last of the big projects that you guys are now doing is the Masters of the Universe Classics. How did it get started? Was it the He-Man figure you brought last year that started it all up again?

    CB: Yeah, pretty much. Yeah.

ET: All of this, and with the Con going on right now, it is just a beautiful thing because it is a year later. We knew the Staction line was dying and that was very depressing but it felt right to just try and get something going with Mattel again. Really, it just grew out of one day I was sitting looking at a classic figure and though "what would happen if you just took these proportions and straightened them out and put articulation in it?" Then everybody got on board and we put something together and they liked it and decided to put He-Man in the case last year just for fun and to see what fans thought. The stars just aligned and off we went.

CD: None of that was really supposed to happen, you know? We were in a meeting and then they showed it and it got a huge reaction and that was that.

THANK YOU 4 Horsemen!!!!! Without your decision to try adding details to the classic figures, this specific line wouldn't have come to fruition the way it has, nor as fast as it has.

I got to say I loved the 200X line when it came out. And I so far love the MOTUC line. Grayskull is a great figure. I Love what we have seen of the the MOTUC line. But I just can not wait to see the Ladies of MOTUC. I wish you could let us see her. If she looks just as good as the Wonder Woman figure for the DCUC line. She'll rock!

I concur--thanks so much for EVERYTHING You guys have done for the MOTU line and have brought us over the past several years (and your other work is excellent too )

Not only do you guys bring amazing work and detail in all you do, but it is always an honor to meet and speak with you guys in person. I've had the privelage of meeting all of you at WWC in 2003, and speaking with Cornboy at WWC in 2005--always down to earth and it is obvious these guys are TRUE MOTU fans as well.

    Thanks so much!

    Dear 4 Horsemen;

    WHERE'S MY TEELA?!?

Kidding. Thanks so much for He-Man, DC Universe, just... everything. For 8 years you've helped keep this brand alive for us. Thanks for believing in this brand and staying with it even when some people didn't or wouldn't.

Same thing for Scott. Thanks so much, guys.
