Didn't knew that the Batman series has turned 50 now.
Frank Gorshin (1933-2005) played the Joker in the 1st and 3rd seasons.

    Don't you mean the Riddler?

    Caesar Romero was the Joker.

Wow, that makes me feel old. My very first movie in an actual theater was the Adam West bat-movie in its first run. Explains a lot...

Still love this series for what it was intended to be, and the first season and a half is top notch satire with some nice bite to it. I realize it had a negative effect on comic books in pop culture for years (have reporters finally stopped putting "Bang!" and "Pow" in the title of EVERY story about comics?), but you can still appreciate it for what it was. It is the height of 60's kitch, and, as Adam West has said, there were three "B"s in the 60's: Bond, Beatles and Batman.
"I will use this power for all the good that can be done, to work for peace, to encourage virtue, and above all, to preserve life in all its forms..." Superman

I miss them all , not many left now

Pretty obvious that Bookworm and Puzzler were Riddler wannabe's

Kind of ironic that Batman and Robin are about the last two standing...

Replaying Lego Batman 3 and I gotta say that the 66 batman section is a lot of fun. I hope they do something for the 50th. I loved the show and appreciate it more now than I did when I was a kid.

On the Lego front, there will be that giant '66 Batcave/Batmobile set coming in March.

    Still alive :

    -Batman

    -Robin

    -CW #1 & 2

-Susie cheerleader (Jokers moll in "Joker goes to school" , which might very well be my fav Joker show)

-Venus (from the Joker/Pengy Zodiac crimes)

    -Nora Clavicle

-Jim Brolin (aka mr Streisand these days.....he played a cop who told Bats he was illegally parked/armored car man & boxer Kid Gulliver in the final Gorshin episode)

-one of Pengys goons (Joe E. Tata aka 90210s Nat !)
