Alcala style Skeletor's head!

So what are people's feeling about this? I am excited!

I have to confess I will be getting Demo-Man because of THE HEAD, although Demo-Man as a figure doesn't look bad by any means. I was not sure if we would this ever get it, but now it is reality Alcala-style Skeletor head! Small pity we do not get Alcala style body too, but that is smaller issue.

So is this head supposed to color match the Keldor body, TRU Skeletor, or the regular Skeletor?

Face of course is a new sculpt so seems the hood as well! Unfortunately it does not seem to be covering the neck area when looking at the separate head. However hard to tell for absolute certainty.

I hope prototype is at the Comic Con and we will have more pictures soon!

About colour match, head doesn't have any skin. I do not have Keldor.. but isn't the armour colour the same on all Skeletor releases?

I LOVE the Alcala head!!!!! As soon as I get Demo-Man I will be popping that head onto my skeletor! That's THE Skeletor head!!

I, on the other hand, find it to be ugly. Those teeth are just terrible. They make his skull look like a redneck's skull.

Nope. The Keldor armor has a purple with brown tint to it, the regular Skeletor is dark purple, the DCvsMOTU one has a lighter, shinier purple.

But to put it with Demo-Man is ...
The whole body needs to be redone for the comic style.

I will not buy a Demo-Man for this (a long time wanted) head.
You have to buy Demo Man to get this cool head, thats Mattel style.
Its no fun, bring on the whole figure.

BUT MAYBE THEY WILL DOWN THE ROAD

Freakin' HIGH FIVES all around my friends! That head is awesome!! I love it! Skeletor will finally look horrifying! Not that his original skull is bad, but....MAN. Look at that thing! I cannot wait for that figure just for that head. I mean, I do love the figure, but that head is just so dang awesome.

i love the idea of a new skeletor head, but i would have prefered a filmation inspired head & a 200x head. but oh well i'm sure i will grow to like it.
im surprised demo man's skin is green. demo man from preternia?

Original Mini-comic (and I guess DC too) style that Skeletor was drawn. The artist's name was Alfredo Alcala.

I wonder to how many the this head is really the point of getting the figure, for me it certainly is. I am not sure if I would have got the figure without the head.

Yeah this is an awesome figure and that mini comic head looks amazing! I am putting it on my original Skeletor and then putting the old head on my Battle Armor Skeletor. I also have a reissue Skeletor that will have the original head as well. Too much fun!

What's up with that other skull head that Demo Man comes with?

Other skull was part of the Demo-Man concept drawing. I do wonder if it is just decor or if you can attach it to a figure. Oh wait... it must be actual head as this must be the figure Toyguru hinted to come with THREE HEADS?

Yeah, the other skull is from the concept drawing, I believe. It's lying on the ground.

Love the Alcala head. Plenty of "Golden age of motu" (1981-1984) stuff to go around in these reveals!

That is what I am thinking as well. It looks like Demo Man is already starting to rot and is somewhat of a zombie type. Is that another head that has rotted further? If it is a prop that is fine as well but I have a feeling that it may be a head too!

It would also be cool if in a future release we got Skeletor's skeleton warrior army builders and that head would match those to add a third skeleton warrior head. Just a random thought.
