The first character that came to mind when I saw Draego-Man was Drako from the Battle Nexus episodes of the 200X TMNT series.
The figures, themselves, though are quite a bit different - more than I had remembered after looking up some pics of the one that came in that line.

Really like him, id rather concept art or characters in comics first before all new characters but he looks so good and with him tied up into the bio anyway im happy.

dont know how I feel about new characters... BUT!!!
I'm glad that some people are getting to make new ones, especially the 4H. Their chance to make a new character entirely on their own design is great for them. They've worked so long and hard on MOTU they deserve this. Plus I'll just Bet Draego fits great into their Kingdom toyline. A bridge if you will. I dont collect it, but it's cool.
I'm also supprised but pleased about the warm reception some new blood is recieving in the community. I think in the end, new character reveals will be a wonderful addition to our excitement on reveals. I dont know that I'll like them all, or want them, but it's just a great lifeblood infusion.
That being said, Yeah, Draego should definately be a Fighting Foe Man. Frankly Demo-Man is gonna need at least a few followers, and Draego would be a great first lieutenient. I hope for this already. 4H if you are reading this, and havent already decided on the bio (or if you have even) put him in that faction!
All said, I'll probably get him I agree some of him is off, but I am wise enough to know that's just because he's new. Give it time.
Looks nice...not sure if he fits with the rest of the MOTU figures tho.
I like him, awesome accessories, cool looking figure, but I actually dont think he serves skelator i hope that he is part of the fighting foe men, fill out the ranks for that faction instead. I thnk this new figure worked out for mattel, im just worried that they are going to start taking awayslots to create these guys and forget about some concept characters that i was really hoping to see. hopefully that wont be the case. Great job 4hm, he looks awesome.

Draego Man is absolute perfection. Hope they make plenty of him, so they don't sell out in 5 minutes.
He looks amazing and cant wait to get him! He looks more Horde to me.. someone that might have battled against King Greyskull and He-Ro back in the day.

My God, this is crazy but now I am even more excited for the New mystery figures than I am for Filmation and that is saying something because Filmation is already Rockin my world.
This the first time I've ever seen a flaming shield! Perfect reuse of the snake scales, perfect color scheme, perfect execution. Perfect, perfecto, perfectamundo. It's just too cool!!! Whatever side this guy is on, they just got a serious injection of badassery. He'll probably be working with Skelly but this guy will look awesome wherever he goes!

In person it is incredibly striking. The accessories are ridiculous - in a good way.
I was talking to some other Orgers and suggested that it would be cool if this is a POP character LOL.
You'd all assume he's a beastly monstrous nightmare from the Valley of Gnarl, when, in fact, he owns an apple cart in the Village of Thaymor in the Kingdom of Brightmoon.

Totally in love. I hope the other characters are this good (loving Photog too) because it's really exciting to see the MOTU mythos added to.
Anyone think that they may tie his bio to Demo Man in someway?
Visually the character looks awesome. I'll be interested to see a bio so we can see where he fits into the MOTUC world.
He certainly looks evil! It'll be interesting if they turn that on it's head. On the surface of things, The Faceless One looks like a villain too.
Draego Man is amazing ! I see him like a Deluxe Figure because of his wings, detailed head, awesome armor, translucent casted flame shield and other incredible accessories. It's a perfect fantasy figure and has its place in the motu universe. Being kids, we would have never forget such a great figure.

I LOVE Drakor...I mean, Draego-Man! Loved him since I drew him for the Create a Character contest in the 80s! Of course, mine had a slightly different name, different armor, and was all around not as cool, but a red anthro dragon guy just the same.
OMG, I just realized, with the Filmation Rights in hand, they can reuse those wings on Dragoon!
He's cool. I actually prefer him to some of the vintage characters. (* see ranking list in the other thread)
