TOY MASTERS-a motu documentary is coming

How is it possible that I could not find any news or any thread about it on. org?
at least I used the search and i found nothing.

surely many do not know about it , I found out about it today and I'm too happy and excited

"Toy Masters" is the first ever feature-length documentary on the world-wide phenomenon that inspired an entire generation of children and became a billion dollar franchise--"Masters of the Universe".

The film is in production now, filming all over the U.S. "Toy Masters" will feature interviews with the key creative personnel behind every version of the best selling toy line and all incarnations of "Masters of the Universe" on television, film, stage, and print, tracing the inception and ups and downs of the fantasy juggernaut.

They are looking the most crazy and obsessive motu fan for an interview hehe

    here the link http://www.he-man.org/forums/boards/...rsmovie.com%2F

    some pics

    someone happy with this?

    Great info!
I was not aware at all about this documentary. I hope that the producers are org members or someone should be contacting them soon.

Vinto-Man has made a thread for it in the very early beginnings:

    http://www.he-man.org/forums/boards/...ht=documentary

    Org is aware of it.
I think Emiliano may have been in e-mail discussions with the documentary-makers. (I'll wait for him to come and confirm this though)

From what I reckon, when they are ready to officially announce things, Org will be sharing the news in a big way.
Currently the facebook-page is best place to get glimpses of their progress.

Leslie Wadsworth and Jack Wadsworth, who played She-Ra and He-Man respectfully on the live-tour, Power Tour.

Weeeird... I'm already a member. How did I forgot this?!

    Edit:

    Another early He-Man!

We got the story on the MOTU live action T.V. show that never happened and visual proof of it's development. Exciting stuff exclusive to Toy Masters documentary.
    WHAT?!

Ok, I'm utterly speechless... this is AMAZING.

Funny, I was just thinking earlier this week about how cool a Masters of the Universe live action TV show could be! It blows my mind to think one was in development!

I hope the folks involved with the documentary start posting here. I have a feeling they are already on here and just haven't announced their presence yet. Anyway, the film certainly wouldn't be complete without a segment devoted to the Org and fandom!

Usually documentaries like this are screened at film festivals at best before going direct to video, but I'd love it if this got theatrical distribution ala "King Of Kong". It might actually bring more people to the line.

We're in touch with Roger and he's already a member of the forum.
He's up to him when and how he wants to promote the documentary on the org, but I'm talking to him about that

If you live in El Paso, TX. You have to wait for it on DVD. My town has 5 big digital high def theaters and 1 Imax, but none of them show any independent films or documentaries.

I hear you. Even though I'm only about 20-30 minutes outside of Chicago, if an indie movie doesn't come to the suburbs where I live, I'm probably not going to see it. I think the last time I actually saw an "art house" movie downtown was Darren Aronofsky's "Pi". I may get a wider selection than you do, but there are still a ton of movies I'm missing due to where I live.
