    Thank you

Maybe IMAX or SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL would be interested.

There are quite a few fans who have talked about the possibility of a MOTU convention. Could we get a screening(s) of this film for the fans if a theatrical distribution deal isn't reached or is that an impossibility? I know this is jumping the gun since the movie hasn't even been finished yet, but I love documentaries as it is. This one would be featuring my favorite franchise.

Sounds very exciting! Are Mattel aware of this, if not supporting it? And does it cover MOTUC? I'd be surprised if they weren't all over it!

I hope She-Ra gets some quality air-time too!

    In answer to several questions:

As far as Erwin, Oppenheimer, et al, we plan on interviewing EVERYONE that played a key role in MOTU who is willing to talk to us.

As far as we know, Mattel has no idea we're doing this. But I imagine they eventually will. And we hope they'll see how what we're doing only bolsters their product and will choose to support us in our endeavor.

As far as a screening for a He-Man convention: we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. But, as I said before, our intention is to have everyone who wants to see this to get to see it. Regardless, I'd love to be in attendance!

    Thanks!

Excellent! Interview with John Erwin will be the most special as we barely know anything about him.

Will you be interviewing the writer, Bob Forward, directors Ed Friedman, Lou Kachivas, Marsh Lamore, Bill Reed, and Gwen Wetzler?

What about the executives, Hal Sutherland and Joseph Mazzuca?

And maybe Haim Saban and Shuki Levy?

He said everyone who had a key role (and are willing to make an appearance) and I think they qualify as such.

... Someone on He-Man.Org should offer to design these guys a new logo for their film. This one looks kind of boring to me. Needs more sparkles or something... lol

welcome to the he-man forums Corey.

btw.. there was a full feature presentation of the launch of Masters of the Universe cartoon back on Sept 24, 1983 at Mann's chinese theater in LA.

if you or your contacts can find and dig up any archive footage from that day, i think all motu fans here would just DIE!

it was a HUGE MOTU party that saturday afternoon.

all the info u may want to know is on the thread below. feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions, thanks. Carlo

You should make a post requesting this in the Fan Art forum. We have some AMAZING talent here on the boards, and I'm sure they'd love to volunteer their services.

    I agree with Emiliano.
This sounds like the kind of documentary we've all been waiting for.

To be honest, if this is the only MOTU movie we end up getting, I'll be happy. A good documentary would be a lot better than some of the script ideas I've heard about various potential MOTU flicks.

I would only be interested in this film if it introduces new information. If I wanted to rehash things I already know, I would read, listen, or watch an existing interview or commentary.
