Support to change BG Evil-Lyn's furry boots to the 2.0 boots!

Generally I'd wait until after SDCC to get a thread like this going, but knowing Mattel and how they love their "It's too late in the process to change anything" diatribe, the sooner the better.

We've all seen the pics, but here is specifically what should be changed:
(images taken from other users posts (mostly Reboot))

Anyone with me??

Call me crazy, but I like this new look for Evil-Lyn. It's a nice blend of the 200x and vintage toy looks. I'm sure that at some point Mattel would consider doing a more 200x-specific look if you all keep on top of them. But this one? It's looks snazzy and I think it should stay. I'd buy her!

I fear I must disagree too.

I am with DisneyBoy, keep it as it is, no change needed. The boots are hint towards more barbarian He-man mythos, and I do like them.

I agree with the original post, if battle ground Teela gets to be an almost completely new figure why can't Evil-Lyn. What they did with this is if they made Battleground Teela the exact same figure as the first one but with a second head but the hair is blond on the original head and her costume would be brown and gold instead of white and gold and matty went and said "Here is you bikini Teela!" Cause I feel sorta screwed, her outfit should have resembled the Faceless one's outfit a bit.

I'm questioning as to why you included She-Ra's boot pics in your OP...as those boots are the vintage figure's style?

I’m with you; they should take out the fur from this version. Either way this figure is my absolute favorite of the whole show!!

Well, I would like to see a more inspired 200X version, but if we cant have that, then YES, I'd like to see this one with two things:

New boots
New 2.0 Buck with softer skirt

I like the look of her and the boots are fine but I would have to agree that the 200x boots would be epic!

Right now I would have to say no, but I would like to see someone do a photoshop of it. It might change my mind.

I would rather them hold Evil-Lyn back and put her on a 2.0 body and give her a two-piece outfit that LOOKS like the MYP cartoon or 200X toy. She doesn't have the sculpted details of her father, which she did in the toy AND cartoon.

Also, her father has the light lavender highlights Evil-Lyn had in both, but she has the DARK colouring here of the staction. They don't match!

I don't want to pay $30 (after shipping) for a new head and cape and LOTS of less accessories that Evil-Lyn 1.0. She's not really a good value.

The first one also had: short wand, Screeech w/stand.

I think shes stunning as is....but what boots are you talking about? the hideous 'Spawn-ish' mismatched boots of the 200X figure or the awesome Staction boots?

Being a figure for Nov I think it is to late to change the figure they say the need 6 months to make major change and we only have less than 5 months before she comes out.

I like Battleground Lyn as is...Except the dress. The boots are fine.

I could go either way. If they eventually do a true 100% MYP version, than those new boots would be more accurate. If they are not giving her a full reboot with new dress to match the MYP look, then I would prefer the change to the new boots on this figure.

I am 100% with you! When I saw BG Evil Lyn with the Teela boots, my first thought was "werent' the new She-Ra boots a closer match for 200X Evil-Lyn's boots."

Then again, the reused dress is an even bigger issue for me. Even a small change for the better would be welcome, though.
