We want Filmation/Classic Count Marzo for Quarterly Variant!

Well I do at least...or is that getting TOO greedy since Mattel actually brought back Count Marzo in 200x, updating him and making him a hardcore bad ass villain which later led to a pretty popular Masters of the Universe Classics figure?

I don't want to be too greedy because I already got a Count Marzo figure and I want others' to get the figures they've been campaigning for. Although it would count as a Quarterly Variant (4 per year) though...AND a Filmation figure (2-3 per year we've been told) so I don't think he would really hold back anyone TOO important being a variant.

Let's face it, he was an independent (Non-Skeletor main villain) who appeared in 3 episodes while most characters were one and done...

His figure would definitely need some of the Four Horsemen's magic touch since this design comes straight from the Filmation cartoon of the early 80s.







Oh and the accessories are easy to figure out...
1) Mind erasing pistol/gun
2) Black Eternia Flower
3) Ring of Remembrance
4) or perhaps some sort of "magic" much like Draego's "fire"

If we ever somehow, someway end up with this as Count Marzo variant...I'm probably going to end up crying for a Chimera figure down the road from there. Just lettin you all know.

i LOVE the one we have *the more 200x the better* but that marzo's pants can be reused for a mini comic trapjaw so i say make it mattel

I'll support the inclusion of this existing character who had a big part in the He-Man mythos of my childhood. Love the Count and your accessory ideas rock! Bring him on!

Filmation had so many memorable characters. Mattel's announcement gives me hope for not only our core Filmation family, Frosta, Angella,Sea Hawk, etc., but also for Count Marzo, Lady Voltera & Lord Taran (with variant head), Celice (who is actually three characters in one!), the Star Child, Stridor, Uncle Montork etc...

I support Filmation Marzo. Maybe this is a younger version...or it could be magic. TG did state that magic users can look however they want.

Some of us still remember a time before the jobs went overseas and the anime invasion happened. My uncle lost his job at Disney much like Filmation's animators when Loreal closed it down. It is really hard to watch those new ADHD cartoons without a cynical eye.
