He got such a punk rocker look that I keep thinking he's supposed to have a chain whip, guitar-axe, and a souped up motorcyle with a skull on the handle-bars.

I was really hoping for SOK to look like Lotar from Tron not some punk.

I'm not familiar with that character. Was he in one of the games?

very sorry I meant to say "Voltron Defender of the Universe" 80s cartoon character Prince Lotor the main villain of the show. Images can be found on Google or yahoo images.

I was very curious how you would write & imagine the character.

Only four bidders and it was essentially a bidding war between two of them.

If you're willing to wait a year, there's no reason to get a custom.

Where did he debut? In one of the new comics? I love the idea, design and the funny name. Bring this baby on!

Not sure why this character is getting bashed. The 'orgers seem to lack an understanding of why the average fan really likes new characters or concepts who are closely related to the main characters. The 'orgers bashed Baby Skeletor too yet he sold out in Early Access and goes for $150 on the 'bay now.

As much as I dislike the name, silly pun withstanding, I kinda like the 90's-esque design of Skeleteen. It feels like a continuation of the original animated series, if they had stayed in a barbarian world. There is just something about it. As much as GBAGOK was joking, I kinda want him with an Eternian bike.

    This.

I would have loved to have gotten a Baby Skeletor - my daughter was dying for it too, so it would have gone to her eventually.

Skeleteen is just fun. His design is freaky and hilarious and interesting, and there's so much story you could make up around him.

I like to imagine that "Skeleteen" is what everyone else calls him in a rather derogatory way, and that he hates it. I don't know what will happen when he isn't a teenager anymore officially. They'll probably still call him Skeleteen because it will annoy him even more at that point.

I remember arguing about something similar once with fans of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They almost stopped being my friends.

I don't mind the idea of son of he-man , but it's handled with such little orignality , ...Dare Hansome young son of he-man ....skeleteen evil young son of Skeletor,
It's just the same story dynamic as the originals ,how about , Teela rescues a young son of Skeletor
From his crazy ass mom and dad, and raises him as her son ,
This introduces tension with father( cousin), also the future the prospect of a Gar king!!

Keldor the second could still look like a cool anti hero with Eternian hover bike, but be a good guy guy at hart

Hmmm ... this may be a figure Mattel should consider adding a cool extra accessory to appeal to those fans who might be sceptical of the Skeleteen concept, i.e. such as perhaps a Filmation Skeletor head or an acid-burn Keldor head.

For some reason, Id picture Skeletor's son kinda an anti-hero at first struggling to find his way and purpose in the world, being somewhat mischievous and acting out, claiming to be evil but deep inside he is good. I can totally picture a whole coming of age comic series of a naughty brat trying to be evil and ruthless but realizes he can't be truly evil at all because he is good and over time he becomes and awesome warrior. i picture his story With a specific moment where he saves someones life and doesn't understand why he saved someones life which causes him to turn a new leaf. Later he finds out Skeletor is his father, and thinks that if he himself can become good, maybe his father can also, so its a race against time for the Son of skeletor to try and tell his father he has a son, and to redeem his father. Also see some kinda rivalry between Skeletor's son and Dare during the saga, starting off hating eachother and fighting each other but in time becoming allies but still having a competitive rivalry.

He sounds a lot like Luke Skywalker then, or Prince Zukko from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I don't know, I wouldn't *mind* Skeleteen not being just another evil baddie, but the deck is stacked against him. Evil is in his mother's name! I feel as though he'd be more of a Cobra Commander-type of character (post-Serpentor) or an ambitious plotter like Starscream. He's not a good guy, but he's fun to watch struggle to replace the bigger villains. He should inherit traits of both Skeletor and Evil-Lyn, and undermining Skeletor was one of hers. Of course, Skeleteen has outlived all the "bigger" villains, but I feel it's inevitable that Skeletor should come back into the picture. Skeletor would obviously demote his son, and Skeleteen would resent the hell out of that without defecting to the heroic warriors in the process. I guess I question the idea that this character would be good at heart, as nothing we've seen suggests that. He seemed pretty comfortable with villainy in the mini-comics. Compared to General Sunder and Adora, he doesn't seem like diamond in the rough. Heck even Keldor seemed to have a more heroic side to him.
