can Toyguru get Sorceress's colours fixed?

I'm VERY excited about this figure, and think it looks great, except for one thing...

the inside of her wings/cape!

the figure has orange+blue, but the style guide, as well as the cartoon, was solid orange

it might seem like no big deal but I've waited for Sorceress for SO long and she's 99% perfect so I hope she can be made 100%!

You're right and normally Im a stickler for these type of things but I kinda like the SDCC prototype colour layout.

I think she looks fine as is...but I'd like some paint apps on her staff. It's too "white" and bright. It could be just the pictures but it doesn't even look painted.

Yes that's what I mean, the inside of her wings/cape was solid orange in most versions, including the original vintage toy!!!

So since even the vintage figure was solid orange, why is he Classics figure orange+blue...?

I much prefer the blue tips added. It gives her design a little more complexity without ruining the basic aesthetic.

The internal part of the wings on birds are always lighter.

Zoar is a falcon. Here's a picture where you can see the spot the Sorceress has blue inside her wings is actually the LIGHTEST coloured part of the feathers:

Looking at it again, I suspect that the problem is that the outer feathers are moulded in blue. If so, they probably share a mould with the feet and we're frakked.

INterestingly enough, I'm USUALLY a stickler for 100% vintage... but I REALLY like the blue added in.

Maybe this could be seen as 'added detail' that people always want more of...

Thanks for the photos. No offense to danielsan32, but I think that the mock-up shown side by side with the prototype proves why the figure looks better with the blue.

Plus, it makes more since, given that Zoar has the blue on the bottom of her wings.

I feel the wings being blue and orange add more dynamic. The proto-type figure is beautiful, I can't wait to add her to my shelf as she is shown now. All orange would dissapoint me after seing the two tone version.

I prefer the solid orange...and not because it's the way it always was. I prefer it for a few reasons:

1) It's really the way birds feathers are. Lighter coloured on the underside.
2) I feel the blue tips on the INSIDE are distracting and makes the parts of her outfit compete with each other for focus.
3) Removing MOST of the orange from her, makes it look like the orange is VERY out of place.
4) When it's SOLID orange on the inside, it frames her nicely, looks less "busy," evens out the outfit/colours more and gives her a sort of angellic "glow" look (because of the orange).

Even though I LOVE the Sorceress to death, I'm probably the most unbiased person here...because orange is my least favourite colour out of ANY colour and I think the current paint job is lacking in orange!

I'm with Darkspecter on this one--I'd like to see solid orange on the inside (though I'll happily take her in whatever form I can get her)! Personally, I find the blue on the inside to be very distracting from her overall appearance. But, again, I stress that I'll take her however she comes.

I love the prototype's color, If they will change something I only want a gradient color like Emiliano's art.

I'm happy with the way she looks now. Knowing how the 4H work, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they already tried the 'all orange' and something about it just didn't work.

Looks good with the blue. Can't see any reason to change it, myself.
