MotUC Uncle Montork & Gark

Obviously, Montork's a minimal retool of Orko (add a beard and some glasses and don't paint the "O"), so I was wondering who he could come with. And it hit me that there's a pretty obvious possibility - his pet Gark from "Orko's Favourite Uncle":

People clearly want Montork, but what about Gark?

I'll gladly take more Trollans if they don't make them direct copies of FILMation. I'm less fond of Orko for that very reason. Give them a little unique flair and detail and I'm there, but plain magenta robes.. nah.

Dragoon [Oversized]? "Return of Dree-Elle" multi-pack with Yukkers and Filmation Clawful? Trollan multi-pack with Yukkers, Squonge, Squoob, Muk-Muk and the Mukess? A pair of Skeletor's Hover Robots?

Not that I don't think Gark looks cool and I'd enjoy the figure as much as any. I just don't see him happening unless a more prominent character is done which has practically the same body (not sure who that would be exactly).

I Think Montork is a great choice for a pack in with one of the other characters, and he'd be great along side lizard man, or one of the other filmation characters. The same goes for Dree-el, imp, or the twiggets. Throw them into a pack with another character. I dont need two heads for the same guy.


The other instance that they might try is just releasing $10 figures. one uncle montork, or a dree - el, for half the price of a regular figure. That would be worth it in my opinion.

One thing I don't want to see Matty do with the Filmation license is immediately start producing every obscure Filmation character that ever made it onto the screen. Obviously the Trollans are rather prominent, but Gark?

I mean, I am firmly in the "produce it all" mindset. This isn't a contradiction, though. If the obscure characters are released, let's do it a little further down the line.

I think the limitations Mattel is placing on the releases of Filmation characters is probably a good idea.

Gark appeared in two episodes. That's more than Strongarm, Jitsu, Faker, Fang Man, Icer, Masque, Kittrina, and Batros, amongst others!

Wow Reboot....I clearly wanted Montork...Even thought about grabbing an extra Orko to work some magic.... But NOW I WANT Gark too! Gee, thanks! Hahahahaha.... That would be a very nice and crazy pack in figure to come with Montork...
