You could probably do as good if not better. It's easy, just get paint and markers and then vandalise the Mattel figures!

Since the metallic paints were such a rave, I decided to experiment and do this next figure in a metallic shade instead. I present my version of

Destructor

OK, he's not really accurate - I kept Clawful's well, everything instead of using Skeletor's loincloth and Beastman limbs. That's because I don't have a spare Beastman, and I really do like the claw from Clawful.

I'm also hoping to make a Claw Guy, but I'm not sure I know where to start...

I like them! And I'm reminded that I'm a bit behind on a certain Toy A Day blog.

Smart work avoiding joint rub by not painting some of Trap-Jaw's parts. His colors work really well! Catra looks nice, both of them do.

Nice painting overall! I'm curious about what type of paint markers you use since everything I've tried is too thick or runny and a total mess.

They are just repaints Tallstar. You can make them too. I'm gonna repaint my extra set of star sisters to the "correct" colours when I get them next year

I wasn't too pleased with the Destructor, so I got a Skeletor body and repainted it. Instead of the metallic blue though, I went with a normal shade of blue.

I recently found the originals on ebay and fell in love witht hese simple part swaps of vintage figures. You def captured their awesomeness. Titanois my favorite as it combines my two favorite masters from when I was a child.
