Dragon Blaster Skeletor loincloth in MOTUC

I was watching the commercial for Dragon Blaster Skeletor and Roboto and noticed that the DB Skeletor in the ad had the tasseled loincloth like that of the original Skeletor. I noticed that the card back artwork had it as well but I guess Mattel chose to leave it off when they produced the toy. That being said, would you like to see the tasseled loincloth or the furry loincloth when Dragon Blaster Skeletor is released in the MOTUC line?

Personally I prefer the tasseled loincloth look as it gives the overall figure a better look

I'd be happy with the Cardback, but if it was detachable or something that would be ok too.

As a kid I was always disappointed that he didn't include that loincloth. They could totally make up for it now!

I wanted to vote furry like the vintage, but I voted tassled because I was always let down that Skeletor didnt always have the tassle. That should be one of his things, not optional. It set's him apart, and though I like vintage accuracy, I must say this is one of the additions that I think could improve it.

Much like I am pro certain 200x details (that are optional sometimes, like with Fisto) I think that a removable belt, like Trapjaw, would be great. That and the fused sculpt one that came on the other skeletor's kinda dissapoint me. It'd be neat to have a loose one, like the vintage.

But if it's not, I'm not loosing sleep over it being just furry short pants.

I can't really vote in this poll because either way is perfectly fine with me. I'll leave that decision up to the Four Horsemen.

He should definitely have the Skeletor tassel loincloth.

He should also have the same shins and forearms as Kobra Khan, just like the cardback art. Should that be another poll?

The best pert about this dilemma is that either way Mattel chooses to go, those who aren't happy with the decision can still customize him since both loin cloths have already been done.

That probably could be a poll all to itself. I'm with you though. I'd buy extras just to slap those forearms and boots onto the original and BA Skeletor.

BA Skeletor looks weird without the tassles so I would prefer DB Skeletor come with them.

As this is my favorite Skeletor variant. I'd prefer the furry loincloth. It's just a staple in the MOTU diet. But, the 4H could make a removeable tassle loincloth as an attachment on the back side. Easy..it could be done. Then the fans can have the tassle look or the furry look. Everyone is happy.

I think if it's Skeletor he should have the Slatted loin cloth....He-Man usually always has the furry boots..it's his thing...Skeletor should have the same loin cloth....I think BA Skeletor would have looked that much better had he been designed with that instead of the furries...

Well I'm glad to see Dragon Blaster Skeletor got the tasseled loincloth for his MOTUC release. A shame he didn't get a removable one like Fisto but nothing big. I guess this thread can be closed now?

It's kind of cool now we have a more vintage accurate Skeletor buck to retrofit the other ones with if we so choose....that makes 3 Skeletor bucks now....but between DB Skeletor & the original version...not sure which I like best....I think the scaly boots and Whiplash forearms look cool....I just hope the armor is removable, and the chest and abs are blue underneath.
