Wow, I thought a He-Man series would come first. Unless they are going to go for both.

Mind you, this looks like it is a live action series

Not a MAJOR She-ra fan.... but live action means Real swords... and Real swords mean knock-offs on Ebay!!!

If Mattel won't get us our swords... Hopefully SOMEONE will!!

Real live sword could mean a reference model for artwork. Probably not, but I'm trying not to let my expectations get out of control.

Something live action may totally make sense to have She-Ra go before He-Man these days. Hadn't thought of that. This could be really exciting.

she-ra before he-man never but the creators can take any period of time a make a show , i like it .

maybe it's time for the chances of she-ra and no for the chances of he-man

I'm happy about a new show related to the MOTU, but I'd rather it be animated than live action.

This, live action series would be an epic fail as this would not have the budget to make it even close to being good.

Are you all forgetting how HUGE Buffy and Xena were??

This could be amazing IF it's done like Game of Thrones with some True Blood thrown in.

And NO BLAKE LIVELY. SHE's horrible.

I can see how they'd pick She-Ra over He-Man. He-Man has been brought back twice since the original MOTU. Although NA had a four year run, it wasn't so popular and 200X outright failed at retail during it's second year.

She-Ra returning is unproven.

Where does it say it s a new series or a new edition of the old one? And who said it s live action instead of animated? There s no info about this in IMDB

As long as Adora/She-Ra isn't slinging burgers for the DoubleMeat Palace, I'm good with any Buffy comparison.

I doubt there would be a photoshoot for an animated series (though I'm sure stranger things have happened).

Even if one were to be in development, it doesn't necessarily mean it will ever see the light of day. Ideas get thrown around all the time at entertainment companies. Some stick, some don't.

Yes. From the sounds of it, Classic Media is interested in doing a She-Ra show (animated or live action: undetermined) and they're putting materials together to do a pitch. Heck, it could be just a photoshoot and a plot outline, or they could film/animate a 5 minute trailer of some sort. It may or may not get picked up, but it's still pretty darn exciting!
