    TRU Zodac armor glued on?

Can anyone get Zodac's armor off? Mine is glued on for God knows what reason. Any hints on how to pry it off?

I wonder why they would do that. My TRU Merman's armor is glued as well.

no Mer-Man was fine... able to come off easily... that is odd that the glued armor is random. Anyone else discover these dissimilarities?

I haven't opened my Zodac yet, but my Mer-Man's armor isn't glued at all.

Wow. I just checked mine and the tabs are glued! What the heck?

I wonder why they did this.

I am wondering that too... kinda irks me... I guess his cosmic armor is so tough, no human can break it!

mine has the tabs glued on the armor as well but the armor is NOT glued to my figure. It bites I can't remove it but I would only have done it once to give the ab crunch a small working test and then put the armor right back on. Oh well.

Also my Zodac has no bobble head so yeah for me.

i wonder why TG/Mattel would allocate a new tool slot to this gluing of the tabs but not to the un gluing of Stratos.

Generally, these two packs needed new development slots anyways. And 2-pack Stratos didn't have glued wings.

My tabs are glued too... doesn't ruin the figure for me though. I think he's great, slight bobble-head and all!

Mine are glued too! I bet it wouldn't take more than a butter knife to pry it off though. *OWW! My finger*

Question about Toys R Us 2-pack Zodac...

Does his chest harness come off? Mine seems glued on.

    Glued on.

There are plenty of ways of removing it safely though.

Dunk him in boiling water to soften the glue then carefully peel.

    That should work.^

Just yesterday I was making another Enforcer custom. I was changing his loincloth as well. Once I got the head, legs, and loin off, I pulled one shoulder strap over his neck, and pulled the armor down his body. It was still soft from heating.

Yeah I found that out when I tried taking it off.
I'm going to take a hair dryer to it. See if that loosens it up.

It worked for me last night. Took a little bit of force, but the pegs came out. Once I was able to get the harness off, I then pried apart the upper torso, removed the neck peg, applied a coat of crazy glue to one of the ends, waited for it to dry, then reassembled all of it to finally resolve the wobbly head issue on mine.
