Well, I have a sub, but I'd buy her anyway, she's supercool. For the record, I would still like to see a more dedicated MYP version (with winter cape!) as well as a teenage version and, if ever possible, a movie style outfit (on the Classics version body, of course).
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. In another thread, I expressed my love for this figure. I think it's great, so I'll buy her. I she would have had a new (more 200X) tunic, I'd probably be going mental...

I expected her to have a more 200x tunic. But when I saw what we were getting, I realized that what I really wanted from a 200x version was her skin colour and outfit colour, and I am satisfied with that.
So though I'm not against a 200x tunic, and really thought we were going to get one, I"m not dissapointed. I think we're getting the best most definative version of Evil Lyn ever.
Yeah, she's not really a 200X Evil Lyn. So what. The 200X EL is wearing some ol' ugly, poorly-designed, american manga siht anyway. She looked worse than a Yu-gi-oh character.
Battleground Evil-Lyn is beautiful. That's what matters. I'm buying 2.
She's definitely not 200X Evil-Lyn, but she looks amazing. I really like this figure. I will be buying two, but I fear that once we finally get 200X Evil-Lyn I will probably never display BG Evil-Lyn again.
I eventually decided to buy her and try my customizing skills on the tunic, at least the leaf part. For all I know, there may never even be a 200X variant Evil-Lyn, and I do want an Evil-Lyn something bad!

I have a sub, so I'm buying Battle Ground Evil-Lyn without having a choice.
If I had a choice and could buy her separate like Bubble Power She-Ra (which I plan to get 2x), I would not buy Battle Ground Evil-Lyn.
There are only 2 things I like about BG Evil-Lyn.
- New Helmet-less Head
- Pale Skintone (more true to Filmation/1987 Movie/200X)
The head might be the only reason why I might hold onto her in case we get a true 200X or Filmation release later down the road which may have this new head omitted.
The Battle Ground Evil-Lyn figure is very flawed for a collector line like this and should not have been made as a cheap repaint which is neither 200X nor Filmation and is more like a variant of Evil Lyn which didn't exist before.
We should have gotten a true 200X and/or Filmation variant of Evil-Lyn.
Even if it would take a few more years before such a release would be possible. This is a waste of our money imo.

I'm really disappointed she doesn't have a classic-ized version of her 2002 get-up, but I probably would have bought at least one figure if she was outside of the subscription...because that's how I roll.
Lately I'm beginning to realize that what I'm desperately wanting out of this line is quality over quantity. Meaning that I'm more than willing to give up beasts and vehicles, so the actual regular monthlies don't have to rely so much on parts sharing.
