That's pretty cool, I wish they sold them here.
Wow! I really wish this was something that was in the US. I WANT that set with the tiger! That is just too cool! I love this sort of thing.

Well I don't speak for DC, obviously, but yes that was the impression I got at the time.
And I guess it makes some sense from their perspective.
Keeping their characters unique in the action figure market and making sure that their business partners aren't just taking their own stuff and slapping a DC name/logo on it.
Not that this is what was happening, but I could see that being their concern.

I wonder if these will find their way onto ebay...
That Cat looks cool, I wonder if the fangs are detachable from the mouth. Having less articulation in the legs could be good for sturdiness... maybe some customizability value there too.
My feedback thread: http://www.he-man.org/forums/boards/...d.php?t=202402
Essentially what guitargod said, but I know that Art Asylum mentioned that the DC and Marvel Mini-Mates couldn't share parts outside of the base body. They weren't allowed to, say, use the same wings for Hawkman and Angel or even the same capes or hair pieces between the lines. Have a feeling it may go back to Kenner re-using the Super Powers sculpts (if not the same molds) for the Robin Hood: Prince of Theives line. I'm just hoping that they can get the rules bent enough to allow Swift Wind to be used for Winged Victory in the DC sub next year... with a Camelot make-over it should look different enough...
So, are we getting the Paw thingies or not?
Toyguru, read this: The Rebellion needs Glimmer!! I NEED Glimmer!! Pretty Please?
"I will use this power for all the good that can be done, to work for peace, to encourage virtue, and above all, to preserve life in all its forms..." Superman
here´s taht tiger on Mercadolibre, prices are in Mexican Pesos 550 pesos are like 41 USD, so I guess it is better to buy the original Battlecat... and the max steel one doesn´t have all the articulation as the MOTUC one does http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.mx/...-sable-flr-_JM
So, when Mattel reuses parts made for MOTUC with another line (as is the case here), is that looked upon as a benefit for MOTUC at all in Mattel's eyes, since they are getting more out of the tooling?
If so, it would be nice if perhaps they could make some items with potential use for other lines in mind from the get-go. It might be a way to justify more vehicles.

$400 for that bear is tempting. Just kidding. I do want that bear though.
It's Argentine dollars-- the exchange rate means you're not paying 400$ usd.

Did I ever grow up? Probably not. I'm sure the day-glo socks gave it away anyway.![]()
That would be a good idea, but I still want the bear too. A plain, motuc-esque Bear would be really cool.
EDIT
I just looked up more Max Steel stuff from Argentina, a lot of this is really cool looking and would compliment MOTUC very nicely, IMO.
Like this cool rock guy

Those are so cool, I want them all. My son used to love Max Steel when they were in stores here...too bad they aren't anymore...
