Which Half-Naked She-Ra Would You Want Made?

All the Bikini Teela talk around here got me to thinking about these two risque She-Ra concepts; the first being Don Manuel's early take on the Princess of Power for Filmation and, the second, a proposed She-Ra for the live-action 1987 movie by William Stout.

If Mattel had the rights to do these, which one would you prefer to see first? Or are they a big "pass" for you? Thought it would be kinda neat to have a half-naked She-Ra too. hehe

I'd want both, if they were possible. The proto-Filmation design is awesome as someone from some bygone barbaric epoch. I'd like to see her alongside Vikor, or even well after. As for the movie design, 1000x yes. When I learned she was prepped to be in the movie, I was just as sad as when I learned in 1987 she wasn't in the movie. I'd definitely love to have her on the shelf from some futuristic age, or from a time before the Great Wars which ravaged Eternia. Or simply, She-Ra from a parallel universe.

Id take both! The proto-Filmation She-Ra will be a fairly easy custom when we get our Bikini Teela!

Honestly, if we were going to get both, it actually wouldn't make a difference to me which we got first. They're both pretty great.

I want both. I would take the movie design first because it's so detailed and intricate! But yeah...both.

I like the lady Warlord design.

The movie design would be fun but the detail would look off to me for classics.

Neither really - the proto-Filmation one is the better design, and if there had to be one then that. But neither say Adora/She-Ra to me, and if they were going to do either or both I'd rather they were as Con... Vikor-type "new" characters.

Of course, they're both Off-Limits and so not a concern

I'd like the early filmation concept, she has a spot on my shelf right next to Vikor! I think she's meant to have a dark color outfit, based on the shading in that b&w image.

I like both. Proto-Filmation as possibly a contemporary of Vikor, and, since I've added He-Ra to my personal canon as the daughter of Dare/He-Ro (Thanks to Jon-O), I would love to see the movie prototype as her. She would be to me anyway.

I reeeeally like the one on the left, but I have no idea how MATTEL would handle the hip articulation. 'V' crotches are Godawful, and are practically useless.

OK, the one on the right is hot, too.

I totally agree, I read the title and thought 'Oh god, here we go...' but then saw Tally was the author and thought...'Ok...there may be more to this' LOL

But I assume that the one with the chain mail G is the Film version? I LOVE it, its so Mackie!

I'd like both. I'm partial to the Vikor-esque Filmation concept though.

I think the rights for either might be tricky though

They're both totally Heavy Metal. If we got Vikor, we totally need a classical barbarian woman. I'd go for either!

Using "half-naked" and "She-Ra" in the same sentence can't be wrong.

I can't say I dislike either concept. The FILMation one reminds me more of Evil-Lyn or Huntara. The movie design reminds me of Michael Jackson's costume in Captain EO.

Honestly, I kinda like it better because there's more attention to detail and it's a very good re-imagining of She-Ra for the world the '87 film created. My only request on the movie concept is that She-Ra's boobs don't sag so much. That's all.
