mattel will not reissue him Teela or Triclops...and no one knows why....god knows they still have her dress mold
Hi, I'm pretty new here and was a latecomer coming into the line. Since discovering the line back in April I probably have half of the figures MOC and a second of many of my favorites in my loose collection.
One thing I don't understand is why is it so difficult to find Man-At-Arms for a reasonable price? I paid somewhere in the $50 range for him on ebay a month or so ago, but I want a second one and every time he is up for auction he goes for as much as $90. Why is he so hard to get? Seems to be the same story with Teela. Most of the other figures, even the earlier releases, can be found for reasonable prices, thankfully.

I've wondered that myself ... I remember Man At Arms was kinda a peg warmer in the original line.
Supply and demand, friend.
MAA and Teela are the 2 main supporting protagonists. MAA has had only one reissue and it was a while back. Even though Teela had a much bigger production run, she hasn't been reissued yet(?) and it's about time she returned. Her demand went up significantly due to folks wanting to make a mini-comic version when BGT came out.
I may just be a Gay Pop fan...but I am also the one who wants ALL of the Figures, who wants this line to continue and who is putting my money where my mouth is....are you doing the same?

Thanks for the info..
I think the Man-At-Arms figure is awesome and easily one of the best in the line. Its a shame Matty doesn't re-release him along with Teela and Tri-Klops Hopefully they will, thanks again.

All four of them need to be re-released as well as Scareglow. I don't know why Mattel thinks we need more Chief Carnivus.![]()

Uhm, Mattel did re-release Man-At-Arms once, already.
"Why's Dragstor riding on Night Stalker?" "Cause he can."
It#s very easy and obvious, too: When the figures started to sell out within minutes back in 2009, they decided to go into a second production run... but then they realised that it is much cheaper to produce first and second run at the same time... and since every figure sold out fast the second run would sell out fast, too.
But then there were some problems... some second run figures slipped through and many fans received "the original" figures and when figures with reversed shoulders like Roboto and King Hssss showed up, they told us, they couldn't change them for second release because of "taking up another slot..." but it's very obvious that they already produced the second run...
Now they need to get rid of all the second run figures from the past months before they go into production for "new" second runs... and that is why we won't get figures like Teela soon, but rather Bow, Vikor and Sy-Klone...
Another re-release of Man-at-Arms is sorely needed, the secondary market prices are insane.
You guys need to reread TG posts about reissues, there will still be a few reissues in 2012, just no figures reissued from Man-e-Faces on.

MATTEL hates money.
Prefers ZODAC with human feet!
I hope maa, Teela, Tri and web all come back, I am sure a lot of people need them.

I don't think people are saying there won't be any reissues, it's the selection of the reissues that are puzzling. I mean seriously Gygor and Carnivus? I like both, but they are easily available. The choices for reissues have been spotty at best, Keldor came out what 6 months after his release, She-Ra came out with the announcement there would be a 2.0 and a 2-pack version. Stratos twice and while the 2 pack version just came out. I haven't reseached it enough as I've caught up since getting into the line, but I am often asking myself why is this one getting a re-release? So if the next few re-releases are more recent figures I'll be very skeptical. I never thought the re-issues were produced at the same time as the 1st issues, but if we continue to see figures more recently released getting reissues I think that is the case. The next reissues should be Teela, Tri Klops, Webstor, Man-At-Arms, Scareglow or something similar.
Seriously? I did'nt know that, I've had several on card and all have had the Grayskull Reliquey (Sp?).

I got into collecting late last year, but I was still able to grab MAA, Teela for $25, Tri for $20(at a show). Scareglow and Webstor cost the most for me(both $35 shipped). Id hate to try to track these down now but even if MAA and Teela get rereleased I still got them cheaper than I would have from Matty.
That sounds plausible, so it is a possibility that MAA, Teela and Tri Klops won't come back, after all they would compete for "line time" with the current MOTUC plus other Mattel offerings. If so then all we will be getting is figs that have a second run completed and ready to ship.

I hope MAA, Teela, Tri-Klops, Webstor and ScareGlow will all be re-issued in the future, though the character selection of the past re-issues do hint that the re-issues are actually left over stock rather than re-issues.

My marketplace feedback
Yeah, this is why I'm pretty certain they will still do some re-releases, at least for a while. And I'm hopefull/certain that some sorely needing re-release characters will be among them, especially since they arent doing "new" re-releases.
Which is just fine by me. I'll get my second Duncan at a fair price, and it gives them time to build up a good character list for new "Past Manny" character to re-release further down the line.
Now here's to me being able to hold out spending far too much for a second Man-At-Arms.
