Support Thread for King Tamusk, Last of Eternia's Sorcerer Kings

I know, I know, "not another support thread for yadda-yadda-yadda." After watching The Time Wheel however, I think he'd make a pretty great figure in the Classics line given his ties to Eternia's past as a former King (and a Sorcerer to boot) . And regarding the Sylcons, his "bitterest of enemies"........The Fighting Foe Men mentioned in Vikor's bio, perhaps ? Nothing to back it up mind you, just me thinking outside of the box.

Anyway, regarding King Tamusk, what say you: yay or nay?

Agreeing with Kylun Flac here. Plus, look at that club+orb: AWESOME. Love the crown as well. He could indeed re-use parts of Fisto. Perhaps he is indeed a great way to flesh out the FFM! Anyway: more POG = me happy ;-)

Honestly...meh. Not too exciting for me.
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

Exactly what I thought when I saw this thread. But after seeing those pics, this one's not too bad. I wouldn't mind him.

You underestimate the desire of the MOTU fandom. We would have figs well into the 75th anniversary of MOTU

I voted for him! I like to imagine him as a contemporary of Vikor. Sort of like the first chieftain to take on the role of king after the death of Grayskull - with Vikor's help. He'd really help to fill out the Vikor vs. Snake Men warriors and Fighting Foe Men shelf.
Orko: It's like the Sorceress said: sometimes, the ones who seem the worst, need our help the most.
    He-Man: You're learning.

I know the sentiment, as even I sigh from time to time whenever another of these threads for "so-and-so" is started . I just figured since there's threads of support for characters who appeared in only one episode (Melog, Strong Arm, Ileena, etc.), then this one wouldn't hurt considering Tamusk actually has ties to Eternia's past.

One thing that's overlooked about this character (and episode in general) is that given the anachronistic nature of The Time Wheel, towards the end of this episode it was said that Tamusk changed his stance in ruling Eternia from a barbaric rule of law to a more diplomatic one. Obviously that implies that He-Man and Randor's words and actions struck a chord with him, so in essence Orko goofing around and messing with The Time Wheel helped change the course of Eternian history. See, Orko's useful after all .

    why not?

he could be easily repainted for a king barbo (episode: the shadow of skeletor) variant!
...or even come in a 2 pack!

yes he could be used as one of the "hemaen from the past" as i dont really see any other hemen coming out besides Oo-lar. Have him come as a two pack with his Dino steed and it would make awesome addition to this line.

Normally, I'd say yes to a Filmation character like him, but the first thing I thought of was, "Man, he's almost Vikor." He just seems a bit too similar to what we already have, I guess.

To me, that confirms that he is already planned. The wait and see is to see if they can get around to him.

Never saw this episode, but I would definitely buy him. He looks cool and would fit in the line well, I think.
Photog is here! thank you, Mattel!

Now how about some mini-comics love (like Lodar, Geldor, Dakon......)? And Mermista?

Glad to see I'm not the only one thinking along those lines, hence my post from 4 years ago .....

Given Orko's MOTUC bio as being an undercover agent, the Filmation storyline where he accidentally brings Tamusk to present day on Eternia would fit in quite nicely, given that the events from that episode altered Eternian history forever.

Given TG's quote from the Matty forums where he answered my question regarding Tamusk, I do hope there are plans in place for his inclusion into the Classics line . I also wouldn't mind if they made him a descendant of Grayskull and Veena, given his moniker of a Sorcerer King.

Im not totally opposed to him, but we do have a lot of loin cloth guys with capes or helmets at this point. He wouldnt stand out that much on the shelf from the others.

I think he would be a cool addition to classics.
