I know, I know, "not another support thread for yadda-yadda-yadda." After watching The Time Wheel however, I think he'd make a pretty great figure in the Classics line given his ties to Eternia's past as a former King (and a Sorcerer to boot)
Anyway, regarding King Tamusk, what say you: yay or nay?

Agreeing with Kylun Flac here. Plus, look at that club+orb: AWESOME. Love the crown as well. He could indeed re-use parts of Fisto. Perhaps he is indeed a great way to flesh out the FFM! Anyway: more POG = me happy ;-)

He has a good design - I'd like him in my collection.
I know the sentiment, as even I sigh from time to time whenever another of these threads for "so-and-so" is started. I just figured since there's threads of support for characters who appeared in only one episode (Melog, Strong Arm, Ileena, etc.), then this one wouldn't hurt considering Tamusk actually has ties to Eternia's past.
One thing that's overlooked about this character (and episode in general) is that given the anachronistic nature of The Time Wheel, towards the end of this episode it was said that Tamusk changed his stance in ruling Eternia from a barbaric rule of law to a more diplomatic one. Obviously that implies that He-Man and Randor's words and actions struck a chord with him, so in essence Orko goofing around and messing with The Time Wheel helped change the course of Eternian history. See, Orko's useful after all

he could be easily repainted for a king barbo (episode: the shadow of skeletor) variant!
...or even come in a 2 pack!
yes he could be used as one of the "hemaen from the past" as i dont really see any other hemen coming out besides Oo-lar. Have him come as a two pack with his Dino steed and it would make awesome addition to this line.
Normally, I'd say yes to a Filmation character like him, but the first thing I thought of was, "Man, he's almost Vikor." He just seems a bit too similar to what we already have, I guess.

True, the looks are reminiscent of Vikor's era, but Vikor wasn't a Sorcerer nor was he a King.
Personally, I'd like it if Tamusk was responsible for imprisoning Vikor somehow, given that Vikor's chains have yet to be explained. Have a story unfold where the Sylcons/Fighting Foe Men come into play which necessitates Tamusk freeing Vikor, thus creating an uneasy alliance.

Yes to this guy!!! He's got that awesome pre-Filmation barbaric look to him (despite being created by them!) and his story has loads of potential with regards to POG. I want this figure!

I recently asked TG over at the MattyCollector forums whether or not King Tamusk could be a viable option given that we've seen various "He-Men" from Eternia's past (Vikor, Wun-Dar). His reply?

I bought TWO 2013 Subscription as support, because of the promise that showing support will ensure 2014 will include ALL the major POP and NA characters.
I support King Tamusk and would also welcome a Sylcon.
