Sorrowful The Cowardly Dragon Support Thread!!

Now I will be the first to admit I am not the biggest Filmation fan in the world and I definitely never liked the She-Ra cartoon however despite that there is one character that always stood out as one of my favorites from the toon.

So I would like to give a HUGE shout out (tho quietly in case it scares him) to

SORROWFUL THE COWARDLY DRAGON

Not only does he appeal to my love of Dragons but I also liked the way he told Catra off after he and his new monster friends escaped from Beast Island. The sheer nerve of him threatening to spank Catra should earn him a place in the classics line and on our shelves

Just remember to show your support in a quiet and non-threatening way so as not to scare this poor little guy away



so come on lets hear your support for Sorrowful who would not also look great stood next to Granamyr but should also please the POP fans amongst us

I'd totally be down for a Sorrowful. Might as well get some reuse out of that Granamyr buck.

Ya it would be a good reuse of Granamyr so they wouldn't have to do much new tooling.

I have to admit, Sorrowful is one of those characters you have to love. He's so wimpy, but I think everyone can relate to him at one time or another.

He should get a whole new Dragon buck... Granamyr's buck would not suit him... They are very different... (If we go with their Filmation looks)

Absolutely not. He's a textbook example of what made Filmation so lame compared with the early comics. MOTUC is no place for cringe-worthy, Disney-esque characters geared to 3 year olds.

I just had a thought, with regards to sculpt re-use and making more POP/She-Ra characters in this line.

Wouldn't it be cool if the 4Horsemen planned ahead when sculpting Granamyr and made it so that most of his base body could be used to create Sorrowful, the dragon and friend of the Rebellion?



She-Ra and Swifty look great together on everyone's shelves, but I was just thinking how great it would be to see Sorrowful on the other end

I'd rather have the generic blue dragon from Filmation He-Man (aka Shadow Wing from Return of Granamyr or the Mother Dragon from The Dragon Invasion) sooner than Sorrowful. Actually, I'm hesitant to get Sorrowful if he'll cost as much as Granamyr. $85 is a lot.
