The selection of the Filmation Characters is a very touch subject since we will only be getting 2-3 a year. There fore, If it was up to you to decide who was going to be released and who wouldn't what route would you take. Who would you choose. lets just say for arguement sake 3 a year

Shadow Weaver- already know
Lizard Man- Staff of Avion- Just want one in MOTUC
Crita -Dress like marelana to get both Battleground and 80's Crita with wand and whip
2013
Fangman- Would love for him to come with a Drgonsaur
Scropia- mini crossbow for all horde women, movable claws, bendums tail
Mara- Toga(like marlenas) with battleground outfit underneath,hair mace, and shield from proto
2014
Icer- Translucent light bule body with ice forming weapons to cover his hands(like frost giant figures from Thor Action figure)
Madame Razz and Broom- Never saw her with accessories, maybe some sort of want should go back to wtch a couple of episodes
Octavia-Bendums Tentacles, 2 laser raipers, 2 freeze sticks, and a mini horde crossbow
2015
Vultak- blue horde crossbow, In the cartoon he was able to change form into this black blob like net, maybe a black repaint of leeches net might work for him
Master Sebrian- Staff
Strongarm- I would love for his arm to extend out like it did in the cartoon, when I made my custom i used the flexy front piece from ecto-500 and added fisto's fist to it looks great, maybe a war hammer or something,dont have one yet

Seahawk- Photon cutless, shield from dad
False face- Horde crossbow, 3 different heads(king Randor, Heman, Bow)
Garth- Love that double bladed axe all the customs have with him

Drissi- Herder staff, small animals, Caz with herder staff

Is this line really going to last till 2021?I remember reading a while back that they had it planned until 2016 ... Did I miss something?

Will the line last until 2021? Who knows as things are evaluated on a year to year basis. But with the acquisition of the Filmation license, there's mention that they could potentially give us characters for another 10 years.Originally Posted by bobo_arachnid

I like many of those selections. I really like the idea of a semi-translucent Icer in my collection! He would rock!
Now with Filmation in the mix, I could see this line going for many solid years to come!! We already had a TON of great characters that have not made it to the line yet and now there are a TON more that just HAVE to be made!!
I wish they would do one Filmation character per quarter. They have alot of catching up to do!!!
I still don't know who Slime Pig is, or what he looks like. All I know is that he's the caretaker of the Slime Pit, or somerhing rather.

Seriously, I don't think anyone's clamoring for Slime Pig over Granita, Kittrina, Huntara, Malik, Delora, Tyrin & Valtira, or even Plundor...

To be realistic, In my humble opinion, the priority in Filmation are : Batros, Vultak, Lizard Man, Scorpia, Shokoti, Lord Masque, Vultak, Huntara, Dragoon, Melaktha, Icer, Sea Hawk, Strong Arm, Plundor, Octavia (, Madame Razz).
Goatman and Strobo from the comics.
May be I miss one or two
If it's at least 3 figs a year, it drives to 4-5 more years (after 2012). It could be ok for me.

I'm surprised no one ever brings up Delora, Stratos's sister/wife, in these FILMATION threads. I think a second "Avion-ite" would be a great addition to the line.

That's about it. I think a good rule would be that anyone who didn't have a toy in the original line(s) needs at least TWO appearances in other media to justify spending a monthly slot on.
I can't afford a subscription, and characters like 'Slime Pig' will probably drive the existing subscribers away!!

I'm very excited about Filmation rights but I don't want figures made of every single character that ever made a cartoon appearance. I want the most memorable characters like Batros, Lord Masque, Shokoti, (and yes) Plundor, Count Marzo, Granamyr, Icer, Garn, Strongarm, Fang Man, Lizard Man, etc (I know I forgot a lot). I don't want figures of characters like stock footage villagers and old lady disguised Evil Lynn. I want the Filmation rights to enhance the line, not water it down. With the memorable characters from POP it still doesn't seem like there would be enough Filmation characters to stretch to 2021.
That being said, this is the MOTU line of my dreams and I will continue to buy a subscription to the line until it ends. I'm just voicing what I do and do not want.
I also would like the bios to borrow liberally from the Filmation MOTU world.
I'm really surprised False Face gets a mention, but Admiral Scurvy, Dylamug and King Ahgo don't!
