I hope Mattel learns again how to vac-metallize properly. In the 80's they were able to do a proper vac-metal job on the figures. There's no reason why they shouldn't do it again.
By the time Mattel understands that they must really improve the quality of their products and actually acts to do so (which didn't occur yet in several years of MOTUC figures releases), the figures won't stay as long on their website, and they will sell quicker.

The worst variant imo. One of those figures that I knew I was skipping from the second he was revealed.

but the Vac metal set off alarm bells as soon as TG told us that the Cool gold paint Proto was getting Vac!

I just keep mine posed and don't really mess with the armor, so the vac metal is fine for me. But that stupid dial is an eyesore. All in all, I do like my HH and display him in a fierce battle with Battle Armor Skeletor.
First figure I have kept in the package, with no plans on removing. (besides the tru 2 packs) honestly i wasn't too thrilled by him to begin with, i don't care about the dial, but to be quite honest, the new armor, and it being vac metalized was a let down when a repainted version of the original hordaks armor would have sufficed.

His vac is crap. His dial is crap. His bio is crap. The lack of paint details is crap. I mean, he has no detailing on his boots and hood thing. They are just black when t hey should be gray. Hell, even gold would have been nice so that it would match his out of place gold body armor.
Can someone PM me the US number for Matty? I want to talk to someone who might has a clue of what is going on.
