Illumina vs Mighty Spector

TG posted that Illumina would not get passed his boss for the fact that she's not "cool" looking....but i guess the Mighty Spector was.... ANYWAY i was just wondering who of the 2 is better

Well, to me, one of them looks like a MOTU character and the other like a DCUC or G.I.Joe made from MOTUC parts.

Spector convinced me *not* to get the 30th sub. It's an uninspired design, I don't know what a spade has to do with time travel (does that mean Bow has time travel arrows?) or being a specter, as folks have said before, it looks too much like deadpool, it lacks the vibrant colors that pervade most of the line, and while the weapons are cool, that's where any want I have dies. He's a mashup of things that can be/are cool on their own but have come together to make crap. Spector doesn't have a ghost of a chance to make it into my collection

Illumina suffers from a drab color scheme as well, but her design is great, and her bright blue skin gives her some extra pop. Plus she just feels more MOTUCy (that's a technical term, btw) and she's got a steed.

I like her weapons, design, and the mythos behind her. I would definitely spend money on her. But you know, I'm probably one of the "same 50" who want her so my opinion doesn't count anyway.

I chose Illumina, cuz as stated before Spector looks more in line with DCUC.

but Spetor is just like Drego Man a completely new character no one knew about till Saturday you can't compare the fan demand of the two. Fans have known who Illumina is since the time of the 200X series.

I guess I'll pick the best of the bottom of the barrel. Illumina. Spector should be playing cards with Superman and Hawkman. Nothing "Mighty" about him, imo.

I cant vote. I still dont know who Illumina is supposed to be. I know I've read about her before, but nothing sticks.

I know I want Mighty Spector. He exists. If they made Illumina, I'd want her too, on principal at the very least.

The second picture was in a comic book showing a teaser for a later comic. Later comic didn't have her, so she never appeared in anything besides the teaser. Other than what the creator says he had planned, that picture is about all the official information we have about her.

As it stands, Illumina has 72.88% of the vote. Safe to say that this is a character that the majority of fans want. Perhaps it might be time for a good old fashioned letter writing campaign!

Also: At the next Power-Con, someone should definitely start a petition for people to sign in support of this figure.

but that doesn't matter. i mean, im pretty sure ram man has more support. should we make a ram man vs spector thread?

spector is in a semi-motuc toyline. the 30th figs are completely new characters and have no affect on whether illumina or any actual motu figure gets made. spectors creation is not based on fan demand. illumina and other motu characters need fan support to be made.

I don't really care about either of them, don't hate them but could easily pass. Take them or leave them. Not sure why it's such a big deal.

There should be an 'I want neither' option.

I love Illumina but guys I think a poll like this only will feed a non existent rivality among two people. Is this a Create a Character between Scott and Emiliano? I don't think it was the case to put more fire on the fuel...

Why can't they just do another version of the Teela body for Illumina. They only need to sculpt a new head. I would be very happy with that! White and silverblue bodysuit with Keldor blue skin... They can even re-use battleground Evil-Lyn's cape and She-ra's hairpiece...

I hope you mean a 2.0 buck Teela. Because I fear think of what some people might do if do Illumina as a straight repaint of the 1.0 Teela.
