I'm glad they kept SOME white on the wings! It adds some variation in the color scheme of the figure.

I think it looks very cool. I would have been happy with any color they chose actually, because my son has wanted one since 200X.

And so, what we saw is not the final version of the Griffin yet, since his front paws or talons are missing. We'll have to wait some more before we can give an enlightened opinion about the Griffin. But he looks great so far. Here's hoping no flaw will come to spoil him...

For some reason I assumed his rear feet were of Shadowbeast's. They're actually new chicken feet. They went the extra mile on this guy.

Although well sculpted, this beast gave me nothing back in the MYP days and still doesn`t...

Besides of Battle Cat & Panthor I don`t get the feeling of needing a steed for anyone else. I think, this would change, if Mattel makes Stridor & Night Stalker...

I really like this beast, the head sculpt is great and the colors are great. Honestly wish that this was less of a 200x beast and more of a stand alone type character. I imagine it as the new beast to a He-man type hero but instead he is the powered up form of two creatures that merge upon being infused with the power of Grayskull.

Such as the pets of He-mans son merging to create the Griffen his faithful steed. Maybe I'll throw my first custom together. Hmmmm

This is an amazingly sculpted and well painted beast. The wings on mine are sturdy and not loose at all. What a great addition to the MOTUC collection! Wish I could afford another one though, bummer.

The new paint job on the wings is perfect. Can't wait to get mine, hopefully tomorrow. I too would love to get at least 1 more, but not enough cash now. Hopefully Matty will have another $40 sale with these guys included.

I love it. I bought three. two small problems: The saddle is really loose, and the wings kind of interfere with beastman's feet...he bounces off a bit when I play with it/ Otherwise, I LOVE it.

The griffin is now my favorite beast, even above Battle Cat. I love the detailing and overall fearsome look.

I keep almost buying this figure but the double eyes on his head really just bothers me.
I know it is like that in the cartoon but it reminds me of one of those optical illusions where they have multiple eyes on a cat or dog and it kinda creeps me out.

I'm not a fan of the double eyes either but in person it doesn't bother me. It's such a cool figure that I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you decide to buy one.

Anybody else longing for a way to fold the wings in properly? I love how he came out but having the wings spread when standing is as practical as windblown hair on female figures.

Beautiful sculpt and wise use of existing tools, otherwise!

Love the double eyes. Just like in the 200x cartoon. The 4H did a great job with the paint also; glad they did the quadruple toned wings.

Just received mine today...wow! The Griffin is the beast of beasts in this line, he's huge. I'm a vintage fan, but this beast is totally impressive. Four stars!
